Trump: ‘I don’t want pronouns’

Former President Donald Trump does not need pronouns to define who he is.

In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, the Republican presidential nominee made clear he is not playing the pronoun game as he declared he is the “opposite” of a threat to democracy.

With President Joe Biden out of the running, after he ended his re-election bid and endorsed his VP, Democrats continue to sound the alarm over giving Trump a second shot at the White House as they roll out Vice President Kamala Harris who likely will be the nominee eventually facing off against him.

Trump slammed the “coup” against President Joe Biden while he expressed in the interview on “The Ingraham Angle” his take on Harris announcing her pronouns on social media.

“I’m the opposite of a threat to democracy — they’re a threat to democracy,” Trump said in the portion that aired Tuesday. “I mean, look at what they just did.”

“This was a coup. Biden is a very angry man right now. You know that,” he said. “They took the presidency away. His wife didn’t want it to happen. They took the presidency away like he was a child.”

Ingraham asked Trump who he thought was running the country as Biden tries to function amid an obvious mental decline and Harris has left the administration’s business to run after her own election campaign,

“A group of people that are fascists, communists, Marxists,” Trump replied, saying that they “circle” the Oval Office and Department of Justice.

“You’re saying Biden isn’t making any of the big decisions?” Ingraham asked.

“I don’t think so, no. I don’t think he knows he’s alive,” the former president replied.

The Fox News host turned to the topic of pronouns, noting that “Kamala Harris, in her Twitter bio, which I’d never noticed until this morning, states her pronouns as ‘she/her.’”

“What are your pronouns?” she asked.

“I have no… I don’t want pronouns,” Trump responded. “I don’t want pronouns.”

“So, you’re fluid?” Ingraham asked, prompting him to say, “Nobody even knows what that means. Ask her to describe exactly what that means.”

“Why is that?” Ingraham asked.

“Nobody knows because they’re going crazy, alright? We have to bring our country back to sanity. So, I say this about the Republican Party: It’s a party now based on common sense. OK? We’re conservative… we’re everything, but we’re based on common sense,” Trump said.

“We want the American Dream for our children. I want the American Dream. I want my children to say, ‘Man, this is great.’ You don’t even hear about the American Dream anymore. You heard about it four years ago, but you don’t hear about it anymore. I want the American Dream as a goal for our children,” he told Ingraham.

“You don’t hear that anymore with all of this nonsense going on,” Trump added. “We are a party based on common sense.”
