MSNBC’s Joy Reid is fed up with Democrats calling for President Joe Biden to step aside after his disaster debate against former President Donald Trump.
The “ReidOut” host took to her TikTok account to post a 10-minute video that highlighted comments by journalist Kimberly Atkins Stohr and ended with her ranting that she would vote for Biden even if he was in a coma.
After playing a clip of Stohr’s appearance on “Deadline: White House,” Reid talked down to those clamoring for a replacement for Biden on the Democratic ticket.
“Y’all just tell me who the nominee is gonna be. Let me know when you guys are finished fighting amongst yourselves who I gotta vote for in November to keep Hitler out the White House,” Reid said. “That’s all I wanna know.”
Calling Democrats the “freak-out people,” Reid told them to “play in traffic all you want in front of these Republicans” but not to bother texting her until a decision is made on who will be the Democrat nominee if not Biden.
A shortened clip shared on X was edited down to just her remarks while the full video on TikTok featured comments by Stohr.

She added that even “if it’s Biden in a coma,” she would vote for him, claiming she doesn’t even “particularly like the guy” and disagrees with a lot of his policies. But it is all about keeping Trump and the Project 2025 agenda out of power, she noted, referring to what is known as the Presidential Transition Project, the Heritage Foundation’s collection of conservative policy proposals for a GOP winner in the November presidential election.
Reid declared she would be voting Democrat “all the way down” the ballot to keep Trump and any other Republican out of office, claiming she is concerned about democracy.
After signing off, Reid returned in the clip to remind Democrats that they were the ones who chose Biden in 2020 despite the other diverse – and younger – choices available.
“Yes, we have a meritocracy problem on the Democratic side. Way too many of the oldie goldies that don’t seem to want to sit down and retire,” Reid continued. “But when given the choice between the young and fresh and Joe Biden, y’all picked Joe Biden…So just keep that in mind, that you’ve been given options in the past and this is what you picked.”
She continued to call out Democrats who effectively want to tell those who voted for Biden in the primaries as well to “f- off, we’re going to pick somebody different.”
“Unless he decides to walk away, this is your choice,” she went on, comparing the choices to childhood options of either eating “what mom made for dinner” or going to bed hungry.
“And in this case, it’s either what mom made for dinner or Hitler!” she ranted. “This is about power and NOT picking Hitler.”
Unsurprisingly, Reid’s condescending lecture ignited a barrage of commentary on social media.
I always wondered how far someone like Joy Reid could really spiral down.
Like, what’s her floor?
I thought maybe she was already there.
But no, she just keeps digging deeper and deeper.

It’s entertaining.
