Comedian Jon Stewart ripped into President Joe Biden’s “senior moments” during the presidential debate and criticized CNN for setting up the disaster.
The host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” was left stunned by Biden’s performance against former President Donald Trump in Thursday’s CNN-hosted debate from Atlanta, Georgia. Stewart weighed in during his post-game live broadcast, expressing shock and frustration and commenting after a look at Biden’s expressions throughout the night about having “resting 25th amendment face.”
“This cannot be real life. It just can’t,” he bemoaned at one point.

“Let me just say after watching tonight’s debate, both of these men should be using performance-enhancing drugs — as much of it as they can get, as many times a day, as their bodies will allow. Performance-enhancing drugs that will improve their lucidity, their ability to solve problems, and — in one of the candidate’s case — improve their truthfulness, morality, and malignant narcissism,” he said.
“Whatever magical drugs that can kick their brains into gear, because this ain’t Olympic swimming. Oh, he solved the Middle East, but he was doping, so it doesn’t count? And if those drugs don’t exist, if there aren’t actual performance-enhancing drugs for these candidates, I could sure f–king use some recreational ones right now,” Stewart lamented. “Because this cannot be real life! It just can’t! F–k! We’re America!”
After playing a clip of one of many moments that Biden zoned out, even Stewart’s audience was pained.
“Need to call a real estate agent in New Zealand,” Stewart said. “OK, a high-pressure situation. A lot of times you can confuse saving Medicare with beating it. I’m sure it’s not something that repeated throughout the debate, causing Democrats across the country to either jump out of windows or vomit silently into the nearest recycling bin.”
“Not great. Anybody can f–k up … talking. A lot of people have resting 25th Amendment face,” he added.
“I’m not a political expert but while Biden was preparing at Camp David for a week, did anyone mention that Biden will also be on camera?” he asked.
He did not spare Trump from criticism.
“Everything that Donald Trump said in that clip is a lie,” Stewart said at one point. “Blatant and full. And we were tight on time putting this thing together. There’s plenty more.”
“So how do we do this now? Do I take [Trump’s] car back to the White House tonight?” he asked after Biden flubbed an abortion question.
He took aim at CNN for the rules it set before the debate, “Who came up with these dumb*** f***ing rules and why would any of these people agree to them?”
