Charlamagne tha God simpatico with TDS-suffering Robert De Niro

Radio personality Charlamagne Tha God fully admitted he suffers from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” as he stood in solidarity with other critics of the former president.

The co-host of “The Breakfast Club” radio show came clean during an appearance on “Gutfeld!” though his revelation likely came as no surprise to Fox News viewers and supporters of former President Donald Trump.

Charlamagne’s view of Trump as a “threat” came amid a panel discussion on the wrapping up of the New York criminal trial and the publicity stunt outside the Manhattan courthouse on Tuesday.

Leftist Hollywood icon Robert De Niro unleashed an unhinged rant on behalf of the Biden campaign, calling Trump a “tyrant” and leveling fear-fueled insults as he spoke to reporters outside the court. This happened as President Joe Biden’s administration insisted the show trial against Trump was not political.

“Donald Trump wants to destroy not only the city but the country. And eventually, he could destroy the world,” De Niro declared.

DC Metropolitan Police Department Officer Michael Fanone and former Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn, both at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, were also on hand as “special guests” at the press conference.

Charlamagne told Fox News host Greg Gutfeld and the show’s panel that he was in agreement with De Niro.

“Let the record show I totally agree with Robert De Niro,” he said.

“I am one of those people that suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” the multimedia mogul added as he unpacked the tired anti-Trump, Democratic talking points.

“I think he is a threat to democracy. I think he led an attempted coup in this country. You know, he said he wanted to suspend the Constitution to overthrow the results of an election, At the least, that is not a patriotic thing to say,” Charlamagne said, prompting Gutfeld to push back.

“I don’t believe that,” the host said.

“He absolutely said that,” Charlamagne insisted, citing Trump’s 2022 Truth Social post when he suggested his claims of election fraud in the 2020 election “allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

He also cited the Heritage Foundation’s proposal, Project 2025, which focuses on changes to the federal government under a conservative president.

“I’m one of those guys that’s like, I don’t know if he will necessarily leave. I hope he does,” Charlamagne said.

In a morning Fox News appearance to promote his new book, “Get Honest or Die Lying,” the radio host whose real name is Lenard Larry McKelvey, addressed the pressure he is facing to publicly endorse Biden.

“I am not Captain Save-a-Joe,” he told “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday.

“They are asking me why I won’t endorse, like, what does it matter? I mean it’s not like I’m out here telling people not to vote, ” he said.
