Biden campaign to go all-in on abortion ‘every single day’ until the election

Democrats and President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign are reportedly seeing abortion as “a potential silver bullet” to victory in November.

The Biden team “plans to spend every day until November 5” focused on the issue in hopes of distracting Americans from their other concerns like spiraling prices, rampant crime and a border overrun by illegal migrants.

Biden campaign officials reportedly hope to use the abortion issue to “mobilize their core voters, bring disaffected voters back into the fold, and make inroads with voters whom Democrats have often struggled to win,” according to The Washington Post.

“There is no doubt that this issue is central to the contrast between us and Trump,” former White House deputy chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon said in an interview. “There is no way he can wiggle out of his ownership of this issue.”

“They are being reminded more and more of things they hoped to forget — the chaos and the pain that have come in the wake of Trump’s leadership,” said O’Malley Dillon, Biden’s 2020 campaign manager and now campaign chair. “Abortion is central to that.”

With several states around the country instituting abortion bans, Democrats have continued to fearmonger about the threat to abortion “rights” especially in a potential second term for former President Donald Trump.

“This is a new opportunity to frame him as the architect behind the overturning of Roe, which was meaningful to people, and more importantly, someone who will continue to take away and dismantle these rights if he’s let back into the Oval Office,” Biden pollster Molly Murphy said.

Restoring the overturned Roe v. Wade decision is Biden’s top priority and his election team is hoping threats to the freedom to kill unborn babies will galvanize enough voters in November to keep him in the White House. Thus, an all-out effort is underway to keep the issue at the forefront of the campaign.

“Biden himself assailed Trump’s comments on abortion in a lengthy statement. Vice President Harris announced a trip to Arizona. The campaign blasted out statements reminding voters of the former president’s record. Democrats highlighted individual stories of families affected by abortion restrictions,” the Washington Post noted.

“Biden’s team also released a searing new ad blaming Trump for the near-death of a woman who was denied an abortion after her water broke, leading to a serious infection,” the outlet added, referring to a 60-second spot featuring Amanda Zurawski and focused on a Texas law restricting abortions.

Earlier this month, Trump stated that abortion decisions should be left to individual states, with exceptions for rape and incest.

The Biden campaign was accused of being “desperate to spread misinformation and lies” about Trump after taking part of his video statement out of context.

“Biden’s campaign may be used to only clipping 7 seconds because their candidate can’t go longer than that without slurring his words, but their failing strategy of pulling President Trump’s remarks out of context is getting old,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said. “They are desperate to spread misinformation and lies about President Trump because Crooked Joe can’t catch up in the polls. The American people know the truth.”
