A posting for a new assistant superintendent in a Minnesota school district is raising eyebrows over its job requirements.

The hiring notice was posted by St. Louis Park Public Schools on the district’s job board, announcing the position which is expected, as one of many duties, to “examine the presence and role of ‘Whiteness.'”

The administrative position pays a salary between $134,141 and $201,212, according to the posting shared on X by the popular End Wokeness account.

According to the listing, the assistant superintendent “proactively supports the Superintendent to create and communicate anti-racist structures and systems, works to interrupt systems of oppression, and serves as a role model for culturally relevant pedagogy.”

St. Louis Park Public Schools, which is just outside of Minneapolis, requires the person filling the role to be “unwaveringly committed to anti-racist actions” and to have a “clear personal commitment to advancing racial equity.”

“They prioritize their own racial equity journey and set clear expectations for themselves and others in their pursuit of racial equity goals,” the job description reads.

The new employee will also “use data to adapt and sustain their efforts towards racial equity.”

“They actively listen for both spoken and unspoken racial concerns, seek multiple racial perspectives, examine the presence and role of ‘Whiteness’ in systems and structures, and are open to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots,” according to the job posting.

The new hire “fosters joy” and “cultivates a culture of accountability for systemic racial equity transformation.” All the woke-focused requirements will come in handy when the new assistant superintendent fulfills the other job duties of interviewing, hiring and training new employees.

There are reportedly nine schools in the St. Louis Park Public School District with more than 4,500 students. The student body is 53% white and about 20% black, with more than 12% Hispanic/Latino.

It’s mission statement reads: “St. Louis Park Public Schools sees, inspires, and empowers each learner to live their brilliance in an environment that centers student voice and experience to create racially equitable learning that energizes and enhances the spirit of our community.”

While the schools focus on pushing DEI and CRT agendas, the students are turning out with dismal math and reading scores, according to government data reported by U.S. News & World Report.

Only 34% of high school students and 37% of middle schoolers in the district are proficient in math. Roughly half of all students are proficient in reading.

While the district awaits the hiring of the new assistant, last month they welcomed a new superintendent, Dr. Carla Hines.

“Her educational leadership, dedication to student academic success, and vision for racial equity transformation is impressive and I’m confident she’ll lead our district with integrity and passion, advancing our strategic plan,” announced school board chairman Colin Cox.
