A disturbing video caught panicked bystanders trying to help eight blood-soaked high school students who were shot at a Philadelphia bus stop in what has become a “war zone.”
Injured students could be heard crying in the video following the mass shooting on Wednesday. Police said that 30 shots were fired, according to the New York Post.
“Here’s the tragic aftermath of today’s mass shooting in NE Philadelphia. 8 students shot, 11 total for the day. Philly is under Democrat rule with Soros funded DA Larry Krasner prosecuting no one. Philly is now a war zone,” Dapper Detective wrote on X.
The footage shows several of the students groaning in pain, wounded, and bleeding on a sidewalk with bystanders making calls and trying to help them stop the bleeding.

“A distraught woman could be heard screaming as the crowd circled to help the children, with one of the male students groaning in pain over a gunshot wound in his right thigh,” The New York Post reported.
“Another victim beside him could be seen lying motionless as a large wound on his back created its own pool of blood on the sidewalk,” the media outlet added.
According to police, eight Northeast High School students were shot on their way home from school. Their ages ranged between 15 and 17. Three gunmen reportedly opened fire, spraying the students with 30 rounds as they were waiting at a SEPTA bus stop in Philly’s Burholme neighborhood.
“One of the teens — a 16-year-old boy who was struck nine times — was listed in critical condition and is fighting for his life, according to police and local reports,” the New York Post noted.
“Along with the video of the aftermath, police put out their own footage of the moment the three masked suspects driving a dark blue Hyundai Sonata pulled up to a nearby Dunkin Donuts parking lot and rushed out of the car to attack the students,” the outlet continued.

This is the latest shooting in the City of Brotherly Love where under leftist leadership crime has spiraled out of control. A series of violent altercations have taken place involving the city’s public transportation system.
“On Tuesday night, a man was shot dead at a Route 79 bus in south Philadelphia, and on Monday, a 17-year-old boy was killed and four others were injured when shots rang out at a different bus stop in the Ogontz neighborhood,” the New York Post wrote. “Sunday saw a 27-year-old fatally shot following an argument on a SEPTA bus in the Oxford Circle neighborhood, according to local reports.”
Police and Mayor Cherelle Parker are vowing to use “every legal tool in the toolbox” to ensure citizens’ safety when using the city’s transit system.
“As a result of what we’ve seen over the last few days, we’re going to be ramping up our resources significantly,” Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said according to the New York Post. “I want parents and families to know that we’re going to be along our corridors across the entire city of Philadelphia until we can figure out exactly what’s going on.”
The district attorney and mayor asserted that the FBI, ATF, local police, and the DA’s office are all collaborating to track down those responsible for the shooting.
