Former President Donald Trump reportedly ripped into the “RINO” contributors on Fox News covering the Super Tuesday primaries.
Trump blasted the network for including “RINO Bush apologist” Marc Thiessen in its coverage of the primaries on Tuesday and added that former George W. Bush White House adviser Karl Rove should also be on the chopping block.
Thiessen spoke with Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum about the 2024 Republican frontrunner’s electability, saying at one point that he is the only person “less popular” than President Joe Biden. And while Rove conceded in another segment that Tuesday was a “strong night for Donald Trump,” he went on to caution about his “tone” as he should be trying to unify the GOP.
“How many times is FoxNews going to put on RINO Bush apologist Marc Thiessen. He was wrong about me in 2016, and in 2020 I got more votes than any sitting President in history, but the Election was RIGGED,” Trump reportedly wrote on Truth Social, though the post no longer seems to appear on the platform.
“My record on Endorsements is unmatched by anyone, EVER! Put on people who understand what is going on in politics…And while you’re at it, GET RID OF KARL ROVE!!!” Trump added, as can be seen in posts shared on X.

During his discussion with MacCallum Tuesday, Thiessen said that Trump will likely be the GOP nominee because the left is “weaponizing the justice system against him” which has made Republicans “rally around him.” He also noted that Biden is “so weak that it has taken away Nikki Haley’s main argument, which is that she’s more electable than he is.”
Thiessen went on to claim that despite Biden being “the most unpopular president in history,” he could potentially still defeat Trump in November.
“If you think he can’t win. I got two words for you, Senator Fetterman. I mean the voters have said that if they don’t like the GOP alternative, they will vote for a guy who just had a stroke, who had a debate where he couldn’t put a coherent sentence together. And Donald Trump is, the only person who’s less popular than Joe Biden is Donald Trump. A lot of people don’t want this choice. And so it could go either way,” Thiessen said.
Rove, meanwhile, contended that Trump’s campaign had to focus on “unifying” the party in the wake of his primary wins.
It was “a very good night for him,” Rove said of the former president, adding, “Having said that, the high command of Team Trump ought to be concerned about unifying the Republican Party.”
“As we see in these states, a third of the vote in Virginia; 43% of the vote in Massachusetts going to Nikki Haley; a quarter of the vote in North Carolina; Maine is now dropped down to about a quarter of the vote, but it was 31% for Nikki Haley; Vermont 48%,” he said, holding up a whiteboard.
“There’s still some work to be done to unify the Republican Party and that’s going to depend a lot on his tone tonight and whether or not he stops doing things like calling her ‘Bird Brain’ and threatening that if you give money to her campaign you’re going to be permanently banned, and we’ll see how he does tonight,” Rove continued.
“He did well in Iowa with his victory statement, unifying, humble, gracious. Not so good in New Hampshire, and tonight is going to be the big night and he’s gonna set an important tone for either a unified Republican Party or a divided Republican Party,” Rove concluded.
Many social media users agreed with Trump’s reported assessment of his critics and called the Super Tuesday wins simply “amazing.”
So many tears tonight.
MSNBC is apoplectic.
Nikki Haley went down under, hibernating in a swamp somewhere.
CNN was forced to admit Trump is the Republican Party.
Karl Rove and Trey Gowdy are bitter.
And Meghan McCain is throwing a tantrum.
All in all, it’s been an…

Fox News will be the best to watch tonight. Not because they will be fair and balanced, but because Marc Thiessen, Karl Rove, Hume, Benson, etc. will all have massive meltdowns realizing that Nikki is over.

Agreed! They did melt down and then try to advise President Trump….the arrogance! Only one I think came across as humble was Laura Ingraham.

The only surprise tonight is how surprised some people are. The growing populist movement left people like Karl Rove, Meghan McCain, and Nikki Haley behind a long time ago.
