Marianne Williamson convinced Biden is vulnerable, tosses hat BACK IN race

Fear-mongering fueled a former candidate’s jump back into the White House race as she framed President Joe Biden as vulnerable to a “juggernaut of dark, dark vision.”

Considering the Democratic Party’s treatment of the primary process thus far in the 2024 cycle, some would be surprised to learn that author Marianne Williamson had been in the race against Biden, let alone that she had dropped out on Feb. 7.

Wednesday, as the president faced increased scrutiny over his capacity to hold office, raising speculation over an unscheduled trip to Walter Reed Medical Center for his annual physical, Williamson took to social media to explain why her return to the campaign trail was fueled by former President Donald Trump.

“As of today, I am un-suspending my campaign for the presidency of the United States. I had suspended it because I was losing the horse race. But something so much more important than the horse race is at stake here, and we must respond,” began the more than four minute video.

“Right now, we have a fascist standing at the door,” said the candidate in describing the GOP leader. “Everybody’s all upset about it. Well, we should be upset about it. But we’re not going to defeat the fascist by — well, by what? What is President Biden offering?”

En route to promoting herself to the left of the incumbent, Williamson touched on the unrealistic claims from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. that the economy was doing well when many Americans were forced to get two or three jobs to make ends meet while others large swaths of the population had reported skipping meals to ensure they could cover their rent.

“What is he saying beyond, ‘You know, the economy is really doing well.’? Are you kidding me? For whom?” she went on before pushing socialist policies of taxpayer-funded healthcare and college education.

“We need to take this country in a direction of hope and possibility and regeneration,” the Democratic hopeful added and claimed, “That is the vision that will defeat Donald Trump.”

“We’re watching a car crash in slow motion here. Everybody knows it,” said Williamson before addressing concerns her own bid was delusional. “I’ll tell you what’s delusional. What’s delusional is just closing our eyes and crossing our fingers and just hoping that somehow Biden and [Vice President Kamala] Harris will be able to be that juggernaut of dark, dark vision.”

As it happened, with her campaign still suspended, Williamson had come in third place in Tuesday’s Michigan primary with little more than 3% of the vote reported compared to Biden’s 82%.

Second place was awarded to uncommitted which took in 12% of support after Hamas sympathizers had pushed their protest vote against the incumbent to further their call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

“We’re still in this. Let’s do this. This is serious. We need to say to the American people, ‘we see your pain,’ and we need to say to Donald Trump, ‘we see your BS,'” Williamson concluded before some reality check comments.
