NYC migrants at shelter arrested for assaulting security guard AFTER cops arrive

Illegal alien violence tallied three more arrests in New York City Monday as one suspect was alleged to have committed assault AFTER the cops arrived.

Nestled in the East River and surrounded by the Bronx, East Harlem and Astoria, Randall’s Island has remained one of the hot spots for criminality as foreign nationals have flooded the Big Apple. On Monday, officers from the NYPD once again responded to the shelter there after one man allegedly punched a security guard in the face.

Detailing the incident, the New York Post explained that, “Cops who responded to the report of an assault were speaking with the guard when another male resident assaulted him right in front of them, according to the NYPD.”

In addition to the two illegals said to have assaulted the guard, a third individual was said to have been arrested and, at the time of the report, charges remained pending for each.

The incident was the latest in a rash of violence at the shelter which had seen officers caught in a wild brawl with aliens only days earlier. While making an arrest, the cops could be seen surrounded, pushing back on shouting occupants who grew increasingly violent, throwing objects that included a full backpack that connected with the head of one of the officers.

In January, it had been reported that the shelter resorted to installing cameras amid the uptick in violence that had included one individual fatally stabbing another.

“There are a lot of problems here,” an Ecuadorian national had told the Post where aliens had no difficulty bringing in weapons due to a lack of metal detectors. “I don’t mess with anyone. No one.”

The same day as the arrests on Randall’s Island, and as stories of citywide violence against the public and law enforcement officials had included a mob assaulting cops and a teen charged with multiple counts including attempted murder after firing a gun in Times Square, NYC Mayor Eric Adams (D) spoke at a town hall in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

There, he balked at the sanctuary city status of Gotham and contended that it needed to be altered to ensure that aliens who commit felonies could be turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.

“We need to modify the sanctuary city law, so that if you commit a felony…we should be able to turn you over to ICE and have you deported,” Hizzoner said and claimed, “It is a right to live in this city…and you should not be committing crimes in our city.”

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden made an appearance in the city the same day when he joined late-night host Seth Meyers at an ice cream shop as part of the latest episode of NBC’s “Late Show.” There, he revealed his plan to visit the U.S.-Mexico border while ignoring the devastation that his open border policies had wrought even hundreds of miles away.
