‘Mega based’ Fetterman waves Israeli flag from rooftop as haters chant about him supporting ‘genocide’

Matching flags with a flag, “the most unexpected hero” from the U.S. Senate offered up his latest full-throated endorsement of Israel with a “top 10 alpha male move.”

Imitated but not duplicated, the leftist effort to install a Democratic senator with the same “Weekend at Bernie’s” benefits as President Joe Biden appeared to backfire again. Friday, that played out as the ever-surprising, stroke-recovering Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman (D) took yet another defiant stand against terrorist sympathizers pushing for him to balk on Israel.

Viral video, said to have been captured outside the Braddock, Pennsylvania loft home of the congressman’s family, showed the latest harassment from pro-Hamas protesters, waving flags and chanting, “Fetterman, Fetterman, you can’t hide. You’re supporting genocide.”

Contrary to their grade-school rhyme scheme, Fetterman, as he had been since the Oct. 7 terror attack on Israel, was hardly hiding. Instead, he could be seen standing atop his roof, holding the literal and moral high ground while waving the Shield of David-bearing standard of the embattled Middle Eastern nation.

While Israel continued its counter-offensive against the Iranian-backed terrorists and American citizens remained hostages to Hamas, Democratic leaders have either fully cowed to or leaned in favor of ongoing demands for a ceasefire.

Despite the pressure, Fetterman, who had made a point to display the images of the hostages outside his Senate office and had appeared at the November March for Israel draped in the Israeli flag, continued to hold his ground.

“I’m not a progressive,” he claimed during a December interview with NBC News. “I just think I’m a Democrat that is very committed to choice and other things. But with Israel, I’m going to be on the right side of that.”

As the images from Pennsylvania made their way across X, users couldn’t help but comment on the “mega based” response from the junior senator to the protesters who came to harass him at his home.

“Taunting soy Palestine supporters by waving the Israeli flag from the fricking roof top is a top 10 alpha male move,” said one as another suggested of the 2022 election against Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, “He would have beat Oz by 10 if he were like this during that election.”

The rooftop display from Fetterman followed critical commentary against Senate Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) push to crack down on the tobacco-free, powdered nicotine product Zyn. Adding his own thoughts to the effort at government overreach, the senator said Thursday, “When I am going to have a decision, I’m going to err on the side of more freedom and personal choices of those kinds of things. And I made that same argument when I wanted to legalize marijuana.”

“More than half a million Americans die every year from smoking and tobacco, or tens of tens of thousands die of alcohol,” he went on before contending, “I think there’s bigger issues to address than that product.”
