Pro-Palestinian protesters shouted “shame” at patients looking from the windows of a cancer center and pediatric hospital in New York City.
The anti-Israel protesters demanded a cease-fire in Gaza as they poured out on a day meant to honor slain civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. Thousands took their vocal protest and insults to Manhattan’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center which was targeted for an alleged “complicity in genocide.”

“The protesters shouted “Shame!” at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center while patients received treatment on the Upper East Side before targeting a Starbucks and a McDonald’s restaurant they reportedly accused of making ‘meals for genocide,'” the New York Post reported.
The “Flood Manhattan for Gaza MLK Day march for healthcare” was reportedly organized by Within Our Lives Palestine and demonstrators could be seen holding signs reading “Healthcare Workers for Free Palestine” and intentionally trying to get the attention of patients receiving care in the facility.
“Make sure they hear you. They’re in the window,” one person could be heard on a bullhorn in a video that was shared on social media.

“MSK shame on you, you support genocide, too,” the group chanted, banging what sounded like a drum right below the windows of patients, many of whom are children.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center was founded in 1884 and was the nation’s first cancer hospital. With over 120 research laboratories, MSK has over 1,400 attending physicians and over 4,000 nurses with experience in oncology.
The Palestinian-led New York organization claims on its website that it represents the “steadfast belief that no matter what obstacles we will face, victory of the oppressed is inevitable.”

On Monday’s march, Mt. Sinai Medical Center was also targeted for allegedly “supporting Zionism” and “genocide.”
“Mount Sinai you can’t hide, you support genocide,” protesters chanted.

“I thought I was in Germany in 1939,” a 74-year-old Jewish resident on the Upper East Side told The Post after police reportedly escorted her and her dog away from a chanting group of protesters. “I’m astounded. I think it’s horrific.”
