Reality challenged the year in review from Secretary of State Antony Blinken who was roasted on social media over an out-of-touch word choice: “I’m not sure the world can stand any more of this Biden ‘peace.'”
Taking gaslighting to new heights, the State Department head sought to gloss over the third consecutive year of foreign policy foibles from President Joe Biden’s administration through a photo journal. In presenting the “Portraits of Diplomacy: 2023” collection, Blinken was particularly pleased with supposed efforts to “strengthen global peace and security.”
“As I reflect on the miles traveled, countries visited, and intense diplomacy over the past year,” the secretary wrote on X as he shared the collection, “I am proud of our work to build stronger partnerships and strengthen global peace and security.”

The page introduced the selection out of over 100,000 pictures taken by State Department photographer Chuck Kennedy of the cabinet member’s “mission to safeguard our country’s partnerships and forge new ones,” and stated, “Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken calls America’s partnerships its greatest strategic asset. In 2023, he traveled more than 380,000 kilometers and visited over two dozen countries to meet with our nation’s partners. He pledged solidarity with allies and offered assistance after disasters.”
Columnist and commentator Stacey Lennox offered just a snippet of the global turmoil occurring under the Biden administration’s watch as she asked “Are you drunk, sir?”
“War broke out in Ukraine & Israel. Venezuela is about to invade Guyana, China is mulling Taiwan, our soldiers are routinely being fired on BY PIRATES, and you can’t get [Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador] to turn off the migration spigot,” wrote Lennox. “This is just insane.”

Along with unrest in other countries equally impacted by out-of-control illegal immigration, like Ireland where citizens had begun to push back on the devastating policies, additional turmoil and tragedy could be found in places like Azerbaijan and Nigeria, with the former experiencing a mass exodus of ethnic Armenians and the latter holding responsibility for roughly 90% of the over 5,600 Christians killed for their faith in 2022, according to Open Doors.
For 2023, that total was 80% higher than it had been five years earlier and included a widespread massacre on Christmas Eve of at least 140 Nigerians throughout 15 villages, The Catholic Spirit reported.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) took to X to succinctly weigh in, “I’m not sure the world can stand any more of this Biden ‘peace,'” earning the response from one, “I’ve never seen people more proud of so much failure. It’s like they’re absolutely sure that we’re not paying attention. Thanks for calling them out, Senator.”

Others heaped on with their own disdain for Blinken and the Biden administration that had stood aside or even helped pour gasoline on sparks ensuring “the world is on fire.”
As former Cruz staffer Steve Guest noted referencing George Orwell’s “1984” in pointing out the propaganda from the federal government, “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.”

The world is chaos since Joe Biden was elected. Old weak men create hard times.
