Bill Clinton’s staffer is reportedly on Epstein list

An aide to former President Bill Clinton is reportedly one of the names that will be exposed in connection with deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Clinton’s close aide Doug Band is expected to be part of an anticipated release of dozens of names in previously sealed documents related to Epstein.

“Documents related to Doug Band, who helped rebuild Clinton’s image in his post presidency following the Monica Lewinsky scandal, will be released in early January after a ruling by a judge in New York,” Daily Mail reported. “Six files related to Band are among the hundreds ordered unsealed by Judge Loretta Preska, a tranche of information which could give fresh insight into the former president’s dealings with Epstein.”

Associates, witnesses, friends and even victims make up the more than 150 names expected to be exposed once the documents are unsealed.

Band, who was Clinton’s chief advisor from 2002 to 2011, previously served in the administration’s White House Counsel’s office and as Deputy Assistant to the President.

“With Band’s help, Clinton fashioned a new role for his post presidency with his Clinton Global Initiative which donated millions to good causes,” Daily Mail noted. “Yet Band was also with Clinton during some of his encounters with Epstein and was on the infamous 2002 trip to Africa about the pedophile’s private jet where the passengers included Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker.”

Band is reportedly John Doe number eight in the documents which the judge ordered should be unsealed as “no interests that outweigh the presumption of access have been identified with specificity.”

Judge Preska cited Band’s eyebrow-raising interview with Vanity Fair in 2020 as a reason “against continued sealing” of his name and connection with Epstein in a since-settled 2015 defamation case.

Despite the Clinton camp’s insistence to the contrary, Band revealed in the tell-all interview that the former president did visit the Caribbean island owned by Epstein.

“Band said he had no idea about Epstein’s sex crimes back then but got enough bad vibes that he advised Clinton to end the relationship. But Clinton continued to socialize with Epstein and take his money,” Vanity Fair noted in the 2020 piece, adding that first daughter Chelsea Clinton had ties to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

“Chelsea remained friends with Maxwell for years after the press revealed Maxwell was a close associate of Epstein’s. For instance, Chelsea invited Maxwell to her 2010 wedding at the Brooke Astor estate in Rhinebeck, New York, after Epstein had pleaded guilty in Florida to procuring sex from a minor,” according to Vanity Fair.

Band tried to get Maxwell banned from Clinton events in 2011 but was unsuccessful.

“I knew in telling everyone to stop including Ghislaine that Chelsea and her father would be very angry. It made it harder for them to justify being close to her,” he told the magazine.

Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking and procuring girls for her boss and is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
