Australian actor Hugh Jackman, known for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, got himself into a bit of trouble while taking in Christmas decorations in New York — somewhat surprisingly, given the Democratic stranglehold on power, they still acknowledge Christmas in the Big Apple.
Taking to Instagram, Jackman shared that he got up on Christmas morning and went to see the big tree at Rockefeller Center only to get scolded by security when he slipped past barriers set up to get closer to the Christmas tree.
“I highly recommend getting up really early on Christmas morning and taking a walk to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree. It’s so beautiful and not crowded at all,” he wrote, sharing footage of the tree. “I did get in trouble for going beyond the barrier but the security guard was nice and let me go with just a warning.”

Jackman, who recently announced he was splitting from his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, shared a similar message on X with different footage.
“I may have pushed it too far because a security guard came to stop me. But he was nice and let me go with just a warning. Phew,” he tweeted.

The couple released a statement back in September on their parting of ways: “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
“Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives – Deb and Hugh Jackman.”
Here’s a quick sampling of responses from X, with more than one social media user evaluating the experience through the eyes of the Wolverine character:
Does the security guard not know you are wolverine? Does he not know what you are capable of?
