Actor Robert De Niro continues to suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome as his focus ever seems to be on the former president.
In a new Rolling Stone interview, the 80-year-old award-winning star griped again about Trump, continuing his years-long hatred of the 45th president and his blind devotion to Democrats by declaring that President Joe Biden “on a gurney” is a far better scenario than another Trump term in the White House.
When asked if he thought Biden was the “right guy” to take on the Republican frontrunner, De Niro was adamant.
“I think that if Biden was on a gurney and couldn’t move anything but his eyes to blink ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ he’s our person,” he stated. “There’s no way that he’s not the guy to take Trump down.”
He further expressed that perhaps former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley could be the one to “get rid” of Trump.

“We need anything to get rid of Trump,” De Niro said. “If she [Haley] came in, it could at least throw him off and have her be the nominee. But Biden is the best person at this point.”
In the wide-ranging interview published Wednesday, the actor spoke of the loss of his 19-year-old grandson to a reported drug overdose as well as the blessing of the birth of his seventh child. But he still managed to keep it about Trump.
“It’s a lot,” he told Rolling Stone. “I have no choice but to plow through. And my biggest concern now, with everything else, is us getting out of this situation with a monster in Trump. This is a classic grift. This is unreal.”
“If you look at other totalitarian countries like Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, it will affect everybody in ways you can’t even imagine,” he added.
“I thought, ‘Maybe he’ll straighten out.’ Now, this guy is beyond dangerous and I just hope people can realize it,” he said. “Once you go down that road, it won’t be easy to come back.”
Earlier in December, Trump blasted the actor for his attacks, saying he “should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others.”
