Dana Bash appears to want to crawl out of her own skin when Ramaswamy ‘goes there’ on J6

Love him or hate him, Vivek Ramswamny is not afraid of tackling taboo narratives and he brought his A-game to CNN after Wednesday’s Republican debate.

After a fiery night full of hot takes and insults — and yes, some very substantive policy talk as well — the young presidential hopeful continued to impress his supporters when he ventured into no-man’s land while discussing the so-called January 6th “insurrection” with veteran journalist Dana Bash.

“There was no evidence that it was an inside job,” Bash began in the clip that Ramaswamy shared on X.

Attempting to drive her point home, Bash emphatically continued, “It was a fringe conspiracy theory that the Trump-appointed FBI director Christopher Wray has said explicitly, over and over, is just not true.”

Despite Bash’s best efforts, Ramaswamy did not appear to be convinced.

The presidential hopeful admitted that if he were asked three years ago if he thought January 6th was an “inside job” he’d have called it “crazy talk.”

Ramaswamy spoke of narrative discrepancies seen in the released Jan 6th footage and called the lack of transparency over how many federal agents were in the field that day “shocking.”

But it was when the self-proclaimed “anti-woke crusader” brought up alleged “entrapment” that Bash appeared distressed.

“What do you mean by entrapment?” Bash chirped.

“Entrapment means that police goaded people to do something that they otherwise wouldn’t have done,” he explained. “And then they arrest them for actually doing it.”

After Bash called Jan 6th the most aggressive attack on democracy in “many, many lifetimes” she accused Ramaswamy of having no “evidence” for his entrapment claims.

Ramaswamny challenged the disingenuous journalist to take a look at the footage herself, as she unsuccessfully tried to tie former President Trump to the events of that day.

The fiery clip garnered a lot of attention on X where Bash, in particular, took a beating:
