The president of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) had his vacation home in Los Angeles targeted by pro-Palestine protesters on Thanksgiving Day.
The group of about a dozen participated in the demonstration that was organized by the left-wing People’s City Council, an organization that describes itself as an “abolitionist, anti-capitalist & anti-imperialist collective amplifying the voice of the people through direct action, public ed + community space.”
Videos posted on social media showed the protest at AIPAC President Michael Tuchin’s home, as smoke bombs set off and filled the air with a haze. protesters accused Tuchin of having “blood” on his hands by symbolically spreading red paint on his driveway and holding a banner that read: “F–k ur holiday! Baby killer.”
RIGHT NOW: people are out in front of @AIPAC president Michael Tuchin’s house in Los Angeles for a holiday wake up call!

Though someone could be heard yelling “Wake up!” amid the banging noises, there were no reports yet on whether Tuchin was at the home.
“AIPAC spends tens of millions to control pro-genocide congress members,” the protest organizers wrote on X, touting the demonstration as a “holiday wake up call” for Tuchin and AIPAC, a pro-Israel political action committee.”
The StopAntisemitism account on X called the protest “horrifying,” and asked, “What’s next? The burning of Synagogues and schools like in 1939 Germany?”

Videos showed some of the demonstrators wearing black clothes and masks and in one, it appears a neighbor is yelling out while the crowd chants, “Hey, ho, the occupation has got to go” and “F— your holiday,” among other things.
According to X, the People’s City Council LA is taking responsibility for this hate filled act.

AIPAC is a nonpartisan PAC but has sparked heated words from far-left lawmakers such as “Squad” members in Congress.
Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar called AIPAC a “right-wing Super PAC funded by millions of dollars in Dark Money spending.”
“AIPAC endorsed scores of Jan 6th insurrectionists. They are no friend to American democracy,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X last month.
“They are one of the more racist and bigoted PACs in Congress as well, who disproportionately target members of color. They are an extremist organization that destabilizes U.S. democracy,” the New York Democrat added.
The group fired back, calling her verbal attack “More of the same tired lies & spin.”
More of the same tired lies & spin.@AOC and the Squad summed up: People who disagree with us are racist.
