Elon Musk triggered the liberal gun control crowd over the weekend when he posted a video of himself firing what he identified as a Barrett .50-caliber machine gun — from his hip.
The 52-year-old billionaire is dressed in all black in the short clip. The location is not clear but Musk was just in Texas visiting the southern border with Mexico, which is being overrun by foreign invaders with a major assist from the Biden administration — the month of September set a new with over 260,000 illegal immigrant encounters.

Musk was confronted last year by liberal comedian Larry David while attending a star-studded wedding held just a few days after the deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. David equated Musk’s embrace of Republican views — which include a pro-Second Amendment stance — with a desire to “murder kids in schools.”
“His tweets about voting Republican because Democrats were the party of division and hate were sticking in my craw,” David purportedly said. “Even if Uvalde never happened, I probably would have brought it up, because I was angry and offended.”
As for Musk, he made his stance clear in a tweet: “In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold.”
He also offered a rather unique take on the media early Sunday that may or may not be related to the blowback over his day at the range:

As expected, the gun-grabbing crowd was none too pleased with the display of weaponry that has been viewed 87.8 million times as of this writing.

Fun Fact: The 50 caliber rifle is widely used in the military, its rounds can “penetrate light armor, down helicopters, destroy commercial aircraft, and blast through rail cars,” according to a report from the Violence Policy Center, a gun safety group.
