The House of Representatives has outrageously voted against an amendment forcing airlines to reinstate pilots who refused the COVID vaccine with 83 Republicans joining Democrats to shoot it down.
Few would argue that America’s airline system is a complete hot mess. With massive delays and cancellations, passengers are being given the flimsiest of excuses but no one is addressing why most of that is happening. It’s reportedly due, at least in part, to an extreme pilot shortage.
During the pandemic, thousands of airline workers either quit, were fired, or were forced to resign because they would not comply with the vaccine mandate foisted on them by the Biden administration and their employers.
The House could have righted that wrong. Instead, dozens of Republicans helped to keep those pilots from returning to work and they owe the country an explanation for it after killing an amendment to the FAA bill.

“These pilots deserve to be back in the sky doing the job they love. Not a single one should be out of work due to tyrannical COVID vaccine mandates,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who introduced the amendment, tweeted.
Hundreds of pilots were denied medical freedom and forced out of their livelihoods for refusing to get the experimental COVID vaccine.

The tyrannical move from both sides of the political aisle did not go unnoticed on social media.
Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.) was one of the more surprising names on the list of Republicans who voted against the amendment. Rep. Michael Simpson (R-Idaho) also made that list as did seven representatives from Texas. Rep. Juan Ciscomani (R-Ariz.) was a “no” and so was Rep. John Curtis (R-Utah). There were eight representatives from Ohio who voted against it as well.
