‘F*ck y’all!’ Charles Barkley rips ‘a**holes’ boycotting Bud Light, calls on all to ‘drink this f*cking beer’

Former NBA player Charles Barkley’s unsolicited, profanity-laced take on Bud Light stirred some to announce, “Time to not buy Bud Light even harder.”

While in Lake Tahoe, California for the American Century Celebrity golf tournament over the weekend, Barkley waded into the culture with a seemingly unprompted take unlikely to earn him any thanks from Anheuser-Busch. Having reportedly lost billions in market value since sponsoring gender-bending influencer Dylan Mulvaney, the beverage company was desperately trying to place the marketing debacle behind them before the basketballer kicked up the dust once more.

“All you rednecks are a**holes who don’t want to drink Bud Light. F*ck y’all!” he could be heard declaring in one video, straining the credibility of past claims to be “against any form of discrimination.”

“Hey, y’all can’t cancel me,” he asserted before professing calling back to statements he had made the night before when he had plied the crowd with beer on him.

“I want you all to drink this f*cking beer. I want you all to drink this f*cking beer. I got three cases of Bud Light,” Barkley had said into the microphone. “Hey, and I want to say this: If you’re gay, bless you. If you’re transgender, bless you. And if you have a problem with that, f*ck you!”

As previously reported, Bud Light’s efforts to revitalize its marketing have not been well received as the tainted product could ride its leftist position appearing in favor of gender ideology all the way to financial ruin. With consumers responding to new ads with comments like “the best beer is literally anything else” and slamming promotions with current star athletes by decrying the product once the “King of Beers transitioned to Queen of Beers,” Barkley’s virtue-signaling was likely to do little more than spur the boycott further.

“Charles Barkley want everyone to drink bud light and tells people who have a problem with the Trans movement to go f*** themselves,” many posted on Twitter in response. “Time to not buy bud light even harder.”

Far from his first time wading into woke politics, in 2016 Barkley had taken a position on a North Carolina law maintaining bathrooms as sex-specific. In response, he said, “As a black person, I’m against any form of discrimination — against whites, Hispanics, gays, lesbians, however you want to phrase it. It’s my job, with the position of power that I’m in and being able to be on television, I’m supposed to stand up for the people who can’t stand up for themselves.”

“If somebody is gay, that’s their own business. But it bothers me how people try to say that jocks are not going to be like a gay … I think gay people should be allowed to get married and God bless them, that’s their own business,” the athlete added. “Listen, if a guy can’t play that’s the only time we don’t want to play with him. We don’t care about all that extracurricular stuff.”

Other reactions to Barkley’s take pointed out the boycott wasn’t about what adults were doing, but how the culture was being shifted to accept deviancy.
