Aaron Rupar blasted for whining return to Twitter after brief suspension: ‘Dude has no other life’

Liberal journalist Aaron Rupar tweeted his thanks to his “amazing online community” for standing by him during his tragic banning by Twitter CEO Elon Musk for just over 24 hours after doxing him, acting as though he had just survived a brush with death instead of a suspension.

“Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not,” Musk tweeted on Thursday night just before he suspended the accounts of a number of prominent journalists.

“7 day suspension for doxxing. Some time away from Twitter is good for the soul …” the Chief Twit went on to add. He would eventually run a poll and restore the accounts of those suspended due to popular demand.

“I want to thank everyone for all the support and kind words over the past day and some change. I was pretty bummed about getting suspended initially but quickly realized it’d be fine because I’m blessed to have an amazing online community. Seriously, I appreciate it a lot. Cheers,” Rupar tweeted.

“Early Thursday evening, I started receiving messages that my Twitter account was suspended. I initially thought I was being trolled. But I picked up my phone to check it out and lo and behold, it’s true,” the independent reporter posted on substack.

“I never posted anything Elon Jet related or that could violate the policy about disclosing locations. Unless the policy is that you criticize Elon and you get banned,” Rupar snarked to CNN’s Oliver Darcy.

Rupar’s tweet was hammered by users on Twitter who obviously were not part of his “amazing online community.”

Newsmax host Rob Schmitt offered his condolences and possibly a tissue, “I don’t know how you handled such a tragedy – you’re amazing ❄️.”

One user hilariously tweeted, “lmao imagine thinking you’re a 1A martyr when the internet has your last name as a verb because you suck so bad at your job.”

S.E. Robinson, Jr. noted the trauma of a suspension was more than Rupar could possibly bear, “These comments are like he survived a near fatal accident and just woke from a coma . @elonmusk I never knew a 3 day Twitter suspension was so traumatizing.”

The Illinois Tea Party Project pointed out, “What a loser. It’s a twitter account. Not a firstborn child.”

Breitbart journalist Alana Mastrangelo hammered Rupar, “Now you know what it feels like to get banned from the public square on the whims of your overlords. And you’re lucky, you were suspended for what? Two days? Lmao. Imagine it being years.”

Libs of TikTok tweeted, “Unlike Aaron Rupar, I never violated Twitter rules. Twitter themselves confirmed this.”

Anthony Abides was not thrilled with Rupar’s return from the land of the banned, “Looking forward to all the misinformation you’ll be spreading across this website.”

And the hits just kept on coming and deservedly so:
