Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell sat down with Fox News host Neil Cavuto to discuss murders in Chicago and President Biden’s impending trip to the Windy City, asserting that Democrats were wrong on crime and the police and they need to admit it.

Biden is expected to visit the crime-ridden killing fields of Chicago where Caldwell lost his younger brother over the summer. He’s calling on Republicans, whom he believes will sweep the midterm elections, to end Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies.
“[With] the SAFE-T Act in Illinois, second-degree homicide is now something that you can’t be held on. This is a tragedy by many degrees,” Caldwell commented on Friday during “Your World” with Neil Cavuto. “And I got to tell you, it has to change. And we need a Republican majority in the House and Senate to try to get something done.”
The president was just in New Mexico, fundraising and campaigning for beleaguered Democrats. While he was there, he once again failed to visit the US-Mexico border. Then he set off for Chicago. Caldwell believes it is highly unlikely that Biden will address crime there or anywhere else across the nation for that matter.
“This isn’t simply a signature issue for me,” Caldwell stated. “Gallup released a poll saying that more Americans this year than in the last five decades believe that crime has increased in their areas. And it has and that’s across the country. You look at last year in Chicago, crime was the highest in a quarter of a century.”
LOL. Biden is visiting *Chicago* for a GOTV rally? How high is this tsunami? https://t.co/a4mEjHibLb

He pointed out that reported homicides in Chicago far outnumbered larger cities like New York and Los Angeles. Murders are a whopping 250% higher in the City of Angels.
“With that consideration in mind, why wouldn’t President Biden speak about an issue that’s so critically important and impact so many people? This isn’t a Republican or Democrat issue. It’s a humanity issue. And people are losing their lives at record rates,” he contended, blasting Democrats’ defund-police policies and bail reform in places like New York and Illinois.
He specifically mentioned New York Governor Kathy Hochul in connection with bail reform.

“They need to say, look, we were wrong. We have to change course, and because they refuse to, whether it be Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, or even the folks in the city of Chicago,” he admonished Democrats.
Caldwell fully expects a red wave in the midterm elections that will usher California Congressman Kevin McCarthy into the speakership. He recounted that McCarthy told him during an interview that he will be very proactive concerning crime if he is given the chance to do so.
“That’s why I’m placing my hope that folks like Kevin McCarthy are going to take a direct look at what’s going on with these progressive DAs who are allowing these people to come out of it, go in jail and come out the same day and commit more crimes,” he remarked. “It is a multifaceted approach that must happen in order to change the trajectory because millions of lives… family lives depend on it, Neil.”
