Kari Lake warns Biden’s DOJ there will be a price to pay for targeting parents if she becomes governor

Arizona Republican gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake did not pull any punches at a rally where she said that she would order Arizona state police to arrest President Biden’s FBI or DOJ agents if they tried to arrest concerned parents as terrorists.

Lake is a former local TV news anchor who many believe may one day have a shot at the presidency. She is currently in a tight race with Arizona Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs. Lake is leading in the race currently according to polls.

The conservative firebrand is obviously referring to the unconstitutional threat that involved Attorney General Merrick Garland and a memo that reportedly referred to parents as “terrorists” because they spoke up at school board meetings against Critical Race Theory and transgender issues.

“I don’t believe parents are terrorists at all. And I’ll tell you what. If I were governor right now, and Joe Biden even thought he was gonna send his FBI or DOJ in to start coming after our parents, they would be met at the airport with the state police and arrested for going after our rights,” she vowed to applause.

“We finally, as parents, have to rise up and say, ‘No, we’re not gonna take this anymore,’ and they call us terrorists. That’s unbelievable. We’re in an upside-down world and we need to right it,” she proclaimed.

Leftists seized on her comments and predictably called Lake a liar. But parents and many out there don’t see it that way.

The desperation of Democrats in Arizona is palpable. You can see it when they latch onto statements such as this one by Lake. They are pulling out all the stops to try and stop her.

When Lake was recently addressing school security, she made a minor mention of Paul Pelosi’s attack, and the left came unglued.

“Nancy Pelosi, well, she’s got protection when she’s in D.C. — apparently her house doesn’t have a lot of protection,” Lake said at a campaign event in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to NBC News. The media outlet was incensed that the remark sparked laughter from many in attendance.

“If our lawmakers can have protection, if our politicians can have protection, if our athletes, then certainly the most important people in our lives — our children — should have protection,” she correctly pointed out.

Lake claims that the comment was taken out of context which the media has allegedly done to her time and again during her campaign.

“I never made light of the attack,” she asserted. “I was talking about our children and why they don’t have better security. And I said that our politicians have security and that our athletes have security and we need to have security.”

“Go back and look at the tape and don’t do any creative editing, like the fake media tends to do, and you’ll see what I was saying,” she told the Daily Mail.

You can gauge how much Democrats fear a Republican candidate when they fixate on every single word they utter. It’s a tell they can’t hide and they definitely seem terrified of Kari Lake.
