Canvasser wearing Rubio & DeSantis gear savagely attacked, told Republicans ‘not allowed’ in neighborhood

Senator Marco Rubio strongly denounced what appears to be yet another despicable act of political violence, one that hit home after a canvasser who was wearing one of his t-shirts and a hat for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was savagely attacked by a pack of thugs who allegedly told him that Republicans weren’t welcome in the neighborhood.

The Republican incumbent, who is locked in a battle for his Senate seat with Democrat Rep. Val Demings in one of the key races that will determine whether the disastrous experiment of a one-party rule will continue in America, took to Twitter to condemn the vicious beating of the man who was assaulted over the weekend in Hialeah, a city in Miami-Dade County which uncharacteristically is leaning heavily toward DeSantis as he seeks to close the deal on a second term against feckless party-jumper, Charlie Crist.

“Last night one of our canvassers wearing my T-shirt and a DeSantis hat was brutally attacked by 4 animals who told him Republicans weren’t allowed in their neighborhood in #Hialeah #Florida He suffered internal bleeding, a broken jaw & will need facial reconstructive surgery,” the Sunshine State’s senior senator tweeted on Monday along with graphic images of the victim who was hospitalized for his injuries.

While details are still murky, the beatdown comes at a time when the political left has increasingly turned to the sort of brutality against political adversaries that has traditionally been isolated to third-world countries as well as some of history’s most infamous totalitarian regimes but has been neither customary nor acceptable in civilized countries like the United States until the “wrong” candidate pulled off the upset of the 21st century in the 2016 election. Violence soon became an acceptable remedy to political differences, being explained away if not outright sanctioned by Democrats and their media lackeys.

Just last month, President Joe Biden all but openly called for pogroms when he delivered the most demagogic and un-American address in the nation’s history, bathed in blood red lighting in a demonic setting at Independence Hall in Philadelphia where he effectively declared “MAGA Republicans” to be enemies of the state.

Reactions to the assault of Rubio’s canvasser flooded Twitter as users expressed their shock, dismay, and outrage at what appears to be a politically motivated stomping of one of those whom Biden put targets on their backs with his dog-whistling in the City of Brotherly Love.

“Absolutely horrific. Violence has NO PLACE in politics,” wrote Texas Senator Ted Cruz. “Heidi and I are praying for his swift recovery.”

“I’m begging my fellow Americas: take the temperature down. This is NOT ok. We can fundamentally disagree on politics but in order for the Great American Experiment to work: we must be able to see one another’s humanity. I fear for where we’re heading,” tweeted Alyssa Farah Griffin, the new conservative co-host of “The View” who replaced Meghan McCain. “Prayers for this poor guy.”

Even candidate Crist, whose own irresponsible rhetoric has contributed to the toxic political climate in America, spoke out against the brutality.

“There’s no place for violence in politics,” he wrote on Twitter. “Senator Rubio, your canvasser is in our prayers and we look forward to those responsible being brought to justice.”

Another Florida Democrat, House candidate Annette Taddeo also condemned the deplorable act against Rubio’s canvasser.

“Our campaign staff work hard to make our state and country better. No matter our political differences, this violence is reprehensible. @marcorubio,” she wrote. “I am wishing your staffer a speedy recovery and we must make sure the perpetrators of this violence are held accountable.”

Other reactions to the shocking encounter between the canvasser and the “animals” who pummeled him:

The leftist media reacted predictably by accusing that victim of being a white supremacist and suggesting that he had it coming to him but the increasingly obvious fact that Democrats and their winged monkeys have given a pass to vicious criminals to assault their political adversaries as the new normal is repulsive to the silent majority of Americans to whom political violence remains unacceptable and intolerable in a free society.
