Former ESPN and now The Atlantic’s princess of race relations, Jemele Hill, simply can’t deal with the notion that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is popular with Hispanics in the Sunshine State. In fact, there is talk of the historically blue Miami-Dade County turning red after next month’s midterm elections.
Of course, there’s a reason for all of this, and according to the racist Hill, it has nothing to do with the policies of DeSantis or the capacity of large blocs of voters to think for themselves.
Rather, it all boils down to the immutable characteristic of skin color. Specifically, Hispanics are just too similar in skin tone to white people, she says.
“That proximity to whiteness is a real thing. Also reminds me of an adage I heard a long time ago about how the oppressed begin to take on the traits of the oppressor,” Hill thoughtfully tweeted on Saturday.

As one might imagine, Hill’s hot take opened the floodgates on her race-mongering, pseudo-journalist self.
“A Latino person expressing an opinion you disagree with isn’t because of their “proximity to whiteness.” It’s because Latinos are human beings with their own moral agency,” wrote one user.

Accusing POC of being hypnotized by “whiteness” for expressing their own political beliefs is racist AF.

Hill did not appear to even briefly consider the idea that DeSantis might be a highly effective governor with widespread appeal.
Could also be he’s an incredible governor too. Just a thought.

Nor did she consider putting leftist Democrats and their radical policies under the microscope. If she had, she might have learned a basic lesson in cause and effect. But that would require an act of journalism.
LOL… What does this even mean? 🤦🏾♂️
The minorities I know are done with the victim mentality. How exactly has DeSantis “oppressed” you or minorities?
Radical dems, like yourself, are to blame for the crossover these last 2 years. Your real “oppressors” are the dems you support.

Might have something to do with policies, or lack there of from the blue, and not straight racism. 🤷♂️

As far as DeSantis is concerned, Hill turned back to page one of the Leftist playbook and blamed fascism; a concept that no Democrat appears to be able to explain as the word is habitually misused by them.
Incredible if you like a political bully who absolutely loves fascism. In that sense, he’s a great governor.

And the hits keep coming:
You are just a race baiter Jemele. You have ZERO to contribute to the issue. The Latin community in FL likes DeSantis and your ilk just can not handle minorities thinking for themselves. You truly are a vile human

Poor little bigot. Jamele hates it when her “race card” gets declined. She thought it had no limit.

Is that why you took on a high paying job as ESPN? Because you were oppressed?
