Democrat donor Dr. Clifford Chen has officially given the thumbs-up to Pennsylvania Senate candidate John Fetterman five months after his stroke, unsurprisingly declaring him fit to serve in the Senate if elected.

Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz has strongly questioned Fetterman’s fitness for office and has demanded to know why he hasn’t released his medical records. After massive pressure to do so, Fetterman’s doctor announced the Democrat was good-to-go in a convenient political miracle.
Chen issued a letter on Wednesday saying that Fetterman was recovering well but still had some difficulties with “auditory processing.” What he failed to mention is that this long after the event, it is likely that Fetterman will never fully regain auditory processing, or, for that matter, the ability to speak without hindrance from the effects of the stroke.
“His speech was normal and he continues to exhibit symptoms of an auditory processing disorder which can come across as hearing difficulty,” he wrote after examining Fetterman on Friday. “Occasional words he will ‘miss’ which seems like he doesn’t hear the word but it is actually not processed properly.”

Chen noted that Fetterman exhibited no ill effects concerning his “cognitive ability.”
According to the letter, Fetterman’s vital signs were all normal and included a declaration that he is fit to work.
“Overall, Lt. Governor Fetterman is well and shows strong commitment to maintaining good fitness and health practices,” the letter concluded. “He has no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office.”
Still thinking about the fact that John Fetterman released a letter from his campaign-donor primary care doctor asserting that he has zero cognitive deficits in his speech and processing.

The doctor reportedly works out of a clinic in Duquesne, which is a suburb of Pittsburgh. He donated $500 to Fetterman’s campaign in June 2021 before he was selected as the candidate’s physician. He’s also donated to dozens of other Democratic causes and has made over 300 mostly small contributions since 2015, according to the Daily Mail.
The doctor who wrote this letter is also a contributor to your campaign (and many other democrat campaigns).
One could say he’s now made two contributions to Fetterman. pic.twitter.com/U5cij2krju

Dr. Chen has also given money to Val Demings in Florida, and Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in Georgia. He forked over $170 to Biden’s presidential campaign and donated to both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. His largest donations were to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) which amounted to at least $1,100.
The same doctor who just gave Fetterman a clean bill of health also probably says Joe Biden is sharp as a tack. 👉🤡

Oz wondered aloud during an interview on Wednesday whether Fetterman’s wife would have to take the seat instead of her husband, presumably a la Woodrow Wilson.
“This is not about me or him. This is about the voters,” Oz said on the Hugh Hewitt show. “They have a right to know what’s going on in his body so they can tell if his wife is right or not. Is she going to be the senator or is he going to be the senator? These are topics that he is continually ducking.”

The Democrat hit back at Oz over his questioning his health.
“Unfortunately for Dr. Oz, I’m ready to serve and continue to get better every single day,” he declared.
Fetterman wants to claim he's perfectly fine and has zero cognitive issues while at the same time he refuses to debate for more than 60 minutes and demands all kinds of concessions due to his condition. Nah, he doesn't get to straddle that fence.

FiveThirtyEight’s rolling average of polls contends that Fetterman is holding a five-point lead over Oz. Many sincerely doubt those numbers.
The White House hotly defended Fetterman on Monday, asserting that he had President Biden’s full support.
“Speaking only about the president’s personal conversation with Lieutenant Governor Fetterman, the president has found him to be an impressive individual, and just as capable … as always, who is carrying out his office,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated.

Biden will fly to Philadelphia to raise funds for Fetterman on Thursday.
“I feel like I’m gonna get better and better, every day,” Fetterman told NBC News earlier in the month during an interview. “And by January, I’m going to be, you know, much better. And Dr. Oz is still going to be a fraud.”
