U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s husband filed for divorce on Wednesday citing that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” while leftists fixated on a hog hunt she promoted asserting that she was calling for violence against Democrats.
Her husband, Perry Greene, told TMZ that “Marjorie has been my best friend for the last 29 years and she has been an amazing mom! Our family is our most important thing we have done.”
“As we go on different paths we will continue to focus on our 3 incredible kids and their future endeavors and our friendship,” he added.
“Marriage is a wonderful thing and I’m a firm believer in it. Our society is formed by a husband and wife creating a family to nurture and protect. Together, Perry and I formed our family and raised three great kids. He gave me the best job title you can ever earn: Mom,” the congresswoman told TMZ. “I’ll always be grateful for how great of a dad he is to our children.”

According to court documents, Perry Greene asked the Floyd County Superior Court to seal the divorce proceedings, “because the parties’ significant privacy interest in sealing the records outweighs the public’s minuscule interest in access to said records,” The Hill reported.
According to the filing, “sensitive personal and financial information” will likely be revealed during the proceedings, “which would negatively impact the parties’ privacy interests.”
The couple has reportedly already separated.
As the conservative firebrand’s personal tragedy plays out at home, leftists are busy running misleading headlines and viciously attacking her for a hog hunt she is promoting. They claim she is advocating violence against Democrats in the promo video she put out. Perhaps they should take a beat and note that she differentiated between Democrats and hogs in it.

The headline that Greene took offense to was run by the Huffington Post. She demanded they change it after seeing it on the outlet’s website early Wednesday.
The headline originally read, “Marjorie Taylor Greene Likens Dems To Hogs, Wants Help Shooting Them Dead,” according to Mediaite. The Huffington Post eventually changed it but not before it went viral.
“We’ve got sky-rocketing inflation, high diesel fuel, and Democrats’ America last policies,” Greene says in the ad. “Democrats aren’t the only ones destroying farmers’ ability to put food on the table.”
“We got wild hogs destroying farmers’ fields, so we decided to go hog hunting,” she notes as a video of her shooting a hog from a helicopter plays.
A comparison between Democrats and hogs was made in connection to harming farmers’ “ability to put food on the table,” but there was no equating the shooting of hogs with Democrats in the video.
“I demand you change this headline and your lies about me immediately,” Greene tweeted. “Your freedom of press is not freedom to lie about me. I NEVER said anything like this and did NOT call for violence on Democrats.”

“As a matter of fact, I’m fed up with the political hacks in the media who lie about Republicans every single day. You don’t get to lie about me and many of my colleagues calling us Nazis, fascists, and any other nasty label you type up and get away with it,” Greene wrote.

Greene went on to ardently defend Republicans while accusing leftists of projection.
“There is not one single Republican that has ever aligned with Nazism, fascism, Marxism, socialism, communism, or any other awful political ideology. But I can’t say the same about Democrats, Hollywood elites, or the media. Your projection is becoming exposed,” she continued.

She continued to lament the demise of the press and the lack of honesty in reporting.
“Responsible honest journalism is badly missing in this country. It’s a worthy profession and those that pursue it with honesty and integrity are truly the best,” she added.

The Huffington Post changed the headline a few hours after Greene’s comments on Twitter to “Marjorie Taylor Greene Likens Dems To The Hogs She Wants To Shoot Dead.”
