Dozens of illegal immigrants dress in camouflage, scale border wall with ease in AZ; no one is captured

Vice President Kamala Harris has readily ignored the border crisis that she was placed in charge of handling and has made only one ceremonial trip to a border facility hundreds of miles from the actual problem. Following yet another reframing of the narrative by progressive leaders as Harris attempted to claim the border was secure while blaming the crisis on former President Donald Trump, video captured how far off the mark that claim was in shocking fashion.

Tuesday, Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin and his team provided updates from the ground along the U.S.-Mexico border in both Texas and Arizona. After reporting from Eagle Pass, Texas on “another large group of several hundred migrants” illegally entering the country,

Melugin shared footage from Naco, Arizona where the undefended wall was treated as little more than a momentary roadblock for dozens led by a human smuggler.

“EXCLUSIVE: In just a 45 minute span in Naco, AZ, our team saw over a dozen illegal immigrants dressed in camouflage use a rope to scale the border wall,” the correspondent posted, “then run into AZ. None were caught, making them ‘gotaways’. There have been over 500,000 gotaways so far this year.”

He further went on to detail, “Naco is part of Border Patrol’s Tucson, AZ sector, which DHS sources tell me has seen the most gotaways so far in fiscal year 2022 with approximately 160,000. The man with the cell phone on top of the wall is a human smuggler who told us he crosses people over every morning.”

“The Border Patrol union…tells me this is what happens when so many agents are pulled off front line field patrol to do administrative/processing duties instead, and when the few agents who are on patrol are already occupied tracking down/chasing other groups,” Melugin concluded.

The video was captured just two days after the premiere of Harris’ sit-down interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” where she made the outlandish claim that “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”

She had also stated, “I think there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do,” again shifting blame, “the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship.”

The vice president was seemingly arguing that concern over illegal entries would go away if we became an open-border society. As government solutions to government-created problems often do, that solution would only create a different problem considering the reality that United States sovereignty is not merely challenged by a few dozen desperate refugees scaling a wall, but by hundreds of thousands who are financially burdening the nation at a cost of billions.

As previously reported, each illegal immigrant costs taxpayers $9,232 per year to support and estimates suggest well over two million have entered the country just since President Joe Biden took office. That adds an annual burden of $20.4 billion to the already $140 billion being used to cover the illegal immigrants that have been here.
