The youngest transgender model to ever walk the runway at New York Fashion Week, 10-year-old Noella McMaher, has two transgender parents and has now morphed into an exploited, woke fashion sensation.
The Chicago boy turned girl is a runway veteran for the Trans Clothing Company. Both of her parents are women who have transitioned to men. She will take the catwalk in September at New York Fashion Week with plans to model in Paris next year.
McMaher has an infant sibling that the family refers to as a “theybie.” Noella and her younger cis brother Levi were born to Dee McMaher and Dee’s then-husband, Timothy McCord, a scientist in the Chicago area.
The child made her debut at New York Fashion Week this February as one of a number of trans and non-binary models. According to Reduxx, she intends to have “gender surgeries” at 16.
Noella appears to be an extrovert on social media. Her parents Dee McMaher, 35, and Ray McMaher, 32, both support the child’s exploitative choice of vocation.

“Noella’s first show was Chicago Fashion Week at 7 years old,” Dee McMaher told Forbes earlier in the year. “An out trans teen told her about open auditions, and she watched YouTube videos to prepare. She booked two designers at her very first audition. Since then she has been in two Chicago Fashion Weeks and a handful of smaller shows.”
Dee McMaher told the New York Post in an interview on Wednesday that Noella didn’t like wearing boy clothes as a toddler and often acted out. The parent claims they eventually took her to a gender clinic where she came into her own and was finally free to be a girl. The parent also claims they did not push the child to become a girl.
“Our job as parents for all three of our children is to embrace their individual needs,” the child’s parent told the New York Post. “With Noella, we have a child who has known who she was from very early on.”

“My spouse and I probably own two pairs of shoes between us,” Dee McMaher said. “We’re not into fashion at all. Noella is the opposite. She loves glitter and makeup and clothes. We wouldn’t even know how to encourage that kind of femininity.”
“At 2 years old, she started telling us she wasn’t a boy. At 4.5, she socially transitioned and at 7 she legally transitioned,” McMaher noted.
“My spouse and I are also transgender,” Dee remarked. “Noella transitioned way before we did. She is the most self-assured person I know. I tell her all the time I want to be like her when I grow up.”

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s billionaire family is one of the largest donors to transgender causes in the world, according to Tablet Magazine. In 2019, he signed an executive order promoting LGBTQ students’ rights in schools. Noella McMaher was among those who stood at his side, wearing a pink tutu and a giant bow in her hair with a T-shirt reading, “This is what trans looks like.”
Timothy McCord, the child’s biological father, told the New York Post in an interview that he doesn’t have an issue with Noella coming out as trans. However, he is concerned about her being in the spotlight as a model. He’s also not sure what to make of puberty blockers and hormones.
“I have no say in it,” he asserted. “She’s not my kid anymore.”
Noella’s parents divorced in 2019. He was allowed to see the children on a regular basis at first. That changed in 2016 when he reportedly grabbed the child’s arm following a tantrum. The ensuing fight ripped the family apart and he has not seen his children since then.

“The next day Dee called and said, you need a break from the kids because Noella has a sprain,” he recounted. “Then she called back and said Noella’s arm is broken. I think you need a lawyer.”
That was the beginning of a legal nightmare for the father and he wound up getting arrested and spent several nights in the Cook County Jail in Chicago. At that point, he decided to plead guilty to misdemeanor child endangerment because he felt that continuing to fight within the legal system would be hopeless. After that, he tried to resume visitations with the children but he found it impossible to do so.
“I tried to get back in their lives but it ended up too contentious and stressful for everyone,” McCord claimed.
Dee and her partner formally adopted the kids and he relinquished all rights to them.
“I was given the opportunity to step back and let Dee’s partner adopt the kids and I did that in the hopes they would not have all the stress this was causing in their lives,” the father contended.
