Mark Levin probes Jared Kushner on Trump stories in his new book

Former President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner worked closely as a senior advisor to the president and, when discussing the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago, he offered a bit of insight into how Trump deals with being under “constant attack” from the left’s “fabulous claims.”

Ahead of the Tuesday release of Kushner’s new book, “Breaking History: A White House Memoir,” where the former advisor provides similar accounts of Trump’s handling of embittered progressives and RINOs impeding the administration’s aims, he joined Fox News host Mark Levin Sunday for an exclusive discussion on “Life, Liberty & Levin.”

Levin raised the subject of the FBI raid of Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida and noted how it was just another assault in a never-ending war on the former president. “This Mar-a-Lago despicable attack on Donald Trump, it just never seems to end–the effort to try and tie January 6 to Donald Trump,” he said.

“When you were in the White House working very, very closely with President Trump, your father-in-law, it was one attack after another, one phony bombshell after another. And yet, Donald Trump accomplished more, I would argue, in terms of these truly iconic policy issues, than any modern president in a four-year period,” Levin contended. “How do you do that when you’re under constant attack? You witnessed it.”

“It’s really because President Trump is a fighter,” Kushner responded matter-of-factly, “he’s always been a fighter.”

“The way that he drives his enemies so crazy, they always over-pursue him and make mistakes in trying to get him, and that’s basically what happened here,” the advisor went on in his soft-spoken manner.

“What’s happening now is the same thing being done by the same people in the same way. They’re leaking to the same sources. They’re manufacturing fabulous claims that then get debunked, you know, shortly thereafter,” Kushner explained.

In fact, it was reported that agents that executed the search warrant at Mar-a-Lago were among those “who have actively promoted the Russiagate investigation and hold a deep bias against Trump.”

“I have a story in the book that I talk about; they did this with the Russia investigation, they did this with Ukraine,” Kushner recounted to Levin. “But I talk about how President Trump was looking over some remarks he was gonna make for a very important speech on the Middle East and he was remarking on all the different things he’d accomplished and he looks at me and says, ‘You know, Jared, it’s the being president part is easy. It’s dealing with all the animals, the crazy investigations that unfortunately takes us away from so many of the things that we want to be getting done.'”

“But President Trump did a great job of compartmentalizing everything and really focusing on keeping his promises to the American people, and one thing I’ll just add as well is that, you know, his fiercest critics really accuse him of breaking norms,” the advisor argued, “but what we’re seeing here and what we’ve seen constantly over time is that they do that exact thing.”

“They break all the norms in order to try and get Trump and I saw the other day,” Kushner noted, “the leader of El Salvador put out a statement saying that if he would have raided the home of his largest political rival the American government and the American media would be going crazy.”

President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador had reacted the day that Trump reported Mar-a-Lago was raided with a tweet stating, “What would the US Government say, if OUR police raided the house of one of the main possible contenders of OUR 2024 presidential election?”

Of course, it fell in line with the many hot takes that perceived the raid as the making of a banana republic in the United States, and corporate media defended it.

“But here they’ve been celebrating this unfortunate turn of events that is giving a lot of people who want to believe in the fairness of the judicial system and our democracy a lot of pause and concern,” Kushner railed.
