“Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy is urging former President Trump to call for an end to “violent rhetoric” from his supporters following the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago residence in an effort to cool down tensions.

“So many supporters of Donald Trump have used this opportunity to go against the FBI,” the Fox News host stated. “They’re barking up the wrong tree. Don’t blame the FBI.”
“We just know that right now, given the fact that there’s the suggestion… there’s a lot of very specific, apparently very specific threats, very specific agents at the FBI and whatnot, it would be great for everybody to tamp down the rhetoric against the FBI because the FBI simply was doing what the DOJ asked them to do,” Doocy contended.
“The attorney general is the boss of the guy at the FBI. Of all the people at the FBI. Yeah, so with all of these threats going around, it ultimately would be great if the former president, who has always been a great supporter of law enforcement… posed with a thousand police departments coast to coast… it would be great if he called for an end to the violent rhetoric against federal law enforcement and in particular, the FBI that was just doing their job,” he continued.
Co-host Brian Kilmeade called attention to the view many have about the bureau having a two-tiered approach to doing its job.
“But as Trey Gowdy pointed out last night, for you to look at this situation and think the Democrats and Republicans have been treated the same over the last few years, you’d have to be looking at a different situation,” Kilmeade said.
Hey @SteveDoocy it would be nice for the FBI to not target parents. It would be nice for the FBI to not spy on conservatives. They have chosen a side, this is what they get! It’s time to abolish the FBI. https://t.co/6sqHpn9P6M

“Greg Gutfeld talked about that too. He said, you know it’s interesting the Democrats or progressives are now worried about protecting law enforcement when they weren’t years ago during the raids, but no one is for the violence on FBI agents or any of these individuals that are involved,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt stated.
“If you want to personify that search, look at the attorney general of the United States. Merrick Garland is the one who has staked his entire reputation on it. If there’s not something really big there, he’s done,” Doocy asserted.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) released a bulletin warning of increased threats following the raid on Mar-a-Lago, according to Fox News.
‼️ @CBSNews has obtained DHS/FBI bulletin warning of "an increase in violent threats posted on social media against federal officials and facilities, including a threat to place a so-called dirty bomb in front of FBI HQ and issuing general calls for 'civil war"(h/t @NicoleSganga)

The bulletin warns of “violent threats” against law enforcement and other government personnel, as well as a threat to “place a so-called dirty bomb in front of FBI headquarters.”
“General calls” for “civil war” and “armed rebellion” have also increased in recent days on social media, according to Fox News.
A number of the threats are specific, according to the bulletin, which claims that “the FBI and DHS have identified multiple articulated threats and calls for the targeted killing of judicial law enforcement and government officials associated with the Palm Beach search, including the Federal judge who approved the Palm Beach search warrant.”
