According to a fourth-generation dairy farmer, climate change initiatives being put forth by the left and President Joe Biden could potentially threaten independent farmers and the food supply for Americans.

Climate change mandates are affecting food production globally. A number of nations are imposing crushing regulations, such as nitrogen emissions, on the agriculture industry which have resulted in protests, a disruption in food supply chains, and backlash from farmers.
Joining the party is President Biden who intends to force his climate change agenda down Americans’ throats. He’s playing to his radical base that includes socialist Bernie Sanders and vocal green advocate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The Dutch government announced its plan to reduce nitrogen emissions by 50 percent in June, causing farmers to massively protest. The plan requires a 30 percent reduction in the number of Dutch livestock, whose manure produces nitrogen oxide. That alone will force many farms out of business.
The Canadian government proposed a 30 percent cut to nitrogen emissions from fertilizer by 2030 as part of a plan to get to net zero in the next three decades. That move also saw backlash from farmers. And New Zealand proposed a plan to outrageously tax farmers for the emissions from their livestock’s farts and burps.
Sadly, America is not far behind.

“Americans are feeding into this lie that climate change is because of agriculture and climate change is not going to get better until farmers and ranchers do better,” Stephanie Nash, who is a fourth-generation dairy farmer, told Fox News in an interview.
The EPA estimated in 2020 that 11 percent of total greenhouse gas emissions came from the agriculture sector. Many doubted that estimate but even so, it compares to 27 percent coming from transportation, 25 percent coming from energy, and 24 percent coming from industry. Despite that fact, climate change proponents are raging over cows passing gas.
Biden has made ridiculous proposals such as the one he made in his first congressional address where he suggested that farmers grow cover crops, which are planted to cover the soil rather than for harvesting, in an attempt to reduce carbon dioxide and improve soil health. He also urged the Department of Agriculture to use farm aid funding to incentivize carbon emission reduction on farms.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) released a new Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) proposal in March that seeks to force companies to report the environmental impact of their practices. If that comes to pass, American farmers and ranchers would be at severe risk of disappearing as major food-production corporations would almost certainly turn to small farms or the importation of animal products to preserve their ESG rating.
Farmers around the world are being incentivised and pressured to reduce output, and their land is being snapped up at an alarming rate.
The WEF is applying massive pressure to try and crush farming industries worldwide.

Nash contends that the green policies being forced across the planet are intended to kill off the already struggling farming industry. Farming and ranching are facing skyrocketing costs for labor, fuel, seed, and fertilizer. She asserts that institutions such as the World Economic Forum are “scaring us” with the prediction that by 2050 the global population will demand 70 percent more food than is consumed today and advocates for an overhaul of food production to meet that supply.
“Well, if you continue to kill off our food supply and our American farmers, yeah, we’re not going to have enough food,” she bluntly stated.
Biden saw his climate agenda move forward last week as the Inflation Reduction Act was introduced. It would spend $369 billion on various climate change initiatives. The bill crows that it would reduce carbon emissions by nearly 40 percent by 2030. It claims it could do that by investing in renewable energy.
“Nash, who said her family moved their century-old dairy farm from California to Tennessee in 2015 due to the Golden State’s restrictive agriculture policies limiting water usage, fears the U.S. will follow suit in implementing restrictive policies on livestock farmers already struggling to stay afloat amid increasing production costs and existing regulatory restrictions,” Fox News reported.
The American farmer has been reduced to a public utility by the US government.
It is an ugly thing to bear witness to.

Not only Biden, but all Democrats have beat up the American farmer. Now Biden & Democrats want to sell American farms to China.

Nash pointed her finger at billionaire Bill Gates, who is heavily invested in plant-based food and is buying up farmland across the country. She correctly surmises that he has ulterior motives just as a number of other wealthy individuals and big corporations do, not to mention China.
“They can say it’s for the future, and they want to feed Americans, but honestly, they’re putting chemically grown food into our bodies,” she remarked.
Imitation meats such as Beyond Meat, which Gates is promoting, contain synthetic preservatives and Red #3 food dye which was banned by the FDA for use in cosmetics in 1990, according to the Center for Consumer Freedom.
“There’s not a backbone in Washington, D.C. and there’s not enough family farmers and ranchers in office to protect us around the United States,” Nash said ringing alarm bells.
