U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has a simple solution for the military’s recruitment woes and thinks “toxic masculinity” should be a “number one” requirement for service members.
In a discussion about the paltry incoming recruit numbers into the country’s armed forces, she argued on “Graham Allen’s Dear America Podcast” that it was, in part, due to the “woke training” being forced on them.
“Think about it though, they’ve purged the military,” Greene told host Graham Allen.
“The warriors are leaving,” agreed Allen.

“Absolutely. Why do they want to be there?” Greene questioned. “They’re going through woke training. Their toxic masculinity is completely not accepted, even though what are the military for? I would think toxic masculinity would be a number one requirement.”
Greene boiled it down to one simple question that should be asked of potential recruits.
“They should be like, ‘are you a toxic male? Please sign up,” she said.
Greene’s message may not have been as well received as she had hoped with the social media army mustering to complain about her use of the term “toxic.”

Most enlisted dudes don’t have “toxic masculinity”. They are merely masculine.
OTOH, MTG epitomizes “toxic femininity”.

Experts agree that the “woke policies” have been problematic for encouraging more military applicants over the past few years.
The President of the Center for Military Readiness explained last month that “The culture of the military has been eroded by several years of social engineering and woke policies.”
“It’s been accelerated by the current administration,” Elaine Donnelly said.
Although the woke training has played a huge role in the shabby recruitment numbers, the vice chief of staff for the Army admitted that the Covid-19 “environment” has been part of the challenges facing recruiters.
“We’ve got unprecedented challenges with both a post-COVID-19 environment and labor market, but also competition with private companies that have changed their incentives over time,” Army Gen. Joseph Martin said earlier this month, according to PBS.

In March, the Department of Defense blamed the shrinking military on “transient conditions in the labor market” and anticipated downsizing to 476,000 troops from 485,000 troops for the fiscal year 2022.
