Texas judge warns US cities about migrant ‘invasion’ — buckle up, ‘they’re coming’

A Texas judge has scoffed at the claim by the robotic U.S. Homeland Security secretary that America’s southern border is secure.

Instead, in the midst of what the judge described as an “invasion,” the open-borders, catch-and-release, deportation-averse Biden administration has repurposed the Border Patrol into a ride-share service, he claimed.

And as a result, border security efforts at the local level can’t keep up.

“Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy introduced the Thursday morning segment embedded above by noting that there have been two million-plus nationwide migrant “encounters” so far in this fiscal year, with no end in sight.

In teeing it up for Kinney County Judge Tully Shahan, Doocy quipped that the border is about as secure as “a screen door on a submarine.”

According to the judge, more than 4,500 undocumented persons came through his county just in this past month, many in the dead of night, sometimes in vehicles, and “it has not stopped. And you take these tragedies that are continuing to happen, like the one in San Antonio. What has our Department of Homeland Security…secretary done since just that alone?…They are doing nothing, they’re not planning on doing anything, and they’re allowing these people to come in to destroy our homeland.”

Kinney County is a border county in Texas.

In their conversation, Doocy and the judge went on to allude to mayors like Eric Adams and Muriel Bowser, both liberal Democrats, lamenting the influx of illegal aliens to their cities, thereby stretching municipal social services to a breaking point.

“It took a while, but the rest of the country is catching up to Texas,” Doocy observed.

After processing them, the Biden administration has been transporting migrants into the interior of America.

“Now all the Border Patrol has become is just a professional Uber service,” Judge Shahan insisted. “One thing I can give the [Homeland Security] secretary credit for is he’s learned how to process people, but they’re coming to a neighborhood near you. They’re coming to a neighborhood in Washington, D.C., and the New York mayor, they’re complaining.”

“Well, pretty soon [the migrants will] be a burden upon their EMS system, their medical system, their school system, their law enforcement system, their homeless system. So it has not stopped. We have employed ourselves to help Governor Abbott in prosecuting these people for criminal trespass. Since October, we’ve done over 5,000 cases. As of this week, we hear 150 cases at least a week. And it has not stopped it; it has made no difference. The federal government can stop this immediately,” the judge asserted about the lack of border-security action from officials in Washington.

Judge Shahan punctuated the discussion by thanking Fox News for covering the border crisis, unlike the rest of the corporate media which is ignoring “what’s really happening down here.”

He described that major ancillary omission as a “one of the biggest problems we have.”
