Tucker’s summit speech brings ‘gut-level’ warning to Christians about Dems

The current Democratic Party is antithetical to the United States Constitution and the tenets on which it was established. That’s the conclusion that Fox News host Tucker Carlson appeared to drive home while speaking in Iowa Friday about Christianity’s “natural check on…power.”

The host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” traveled to Des Moines, Iowa for the 11th annual FAMiLY Leadership Summit where he was one of the featured speakers. Joined by the likes of Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R), BlazeTV host Steve Deace and Dallas, Texas-based pastor Dr. Tony Evans to discuss “leading meaningful impact in our nation,” Carlson pointed out that opposition to Christianity is “one of the animating forces” of the left.

“Because the truth is, and they pretty much say it, they hate that worldview because it’s a challenge to their claims of dominion,” he stated as the last speaker of the event. “In other words, anyone who sincerely believes in God, an actual God, is probably not going to hand unlimited power to any person.”

“Religious faith is a natural check on their power — and Christianity specifically is that — so if you’re a Christian conservative — holy smokes, you, on a gut level, feel threatened,” Carlson went on to state.

The host’s assertions drive home the progressive goal to undermine the reality that the nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles that the “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” grant us our rights and liberties, not the government which was designed to protect them from the overreach of tyrants.

This has been especially played out in the debate on abortion since the overturn of Roe v. Wade which Carlson addressed, noting corporations’ shared position with Democratic leaders who want to provide access to on-demand abortion.

“What are companies who pay for abortion really saying?” Carlson asked. “‘It’s more important to serve us than have a family. You’ll be happier rising in our company than having children.’ I can’t imagine a more grotesque and obvious lie.”

The drawn conclusion is that, according to the left, the citizens must be cared for by the state which has ultimate authority over them. Though Republicans have left voters with “dissatisfaction” in curbing the advancement of this idea according to Carlson, they remain the default option as Democrats are “so menacing… [and have] fully embraced delusion [with] extremely high levels of aggression.”

While also touching on key things to look at ahead of the 2024 Iowa caucuses that included: “Candidates who talk about things that actually matter;” “care about noble ideas that bear bountiful fruit;” and “don’t care about critics at [The] New York Times,” Carlson reminded attendees that the left is more often than not unaware of the reality of the causes that they stand behind.

Touching on the green agenda, he asked, “How many people at the Sierra Club could name 3 bird species or tell the difference between spruce and hemlock?” thus driving home the point that, if unchecked, they can do immeasurable damage because their zealotry to their own quest for power supersedes all else.
