Stacey Abrams has left her opponent, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, in the dust when it comes to fundraising, raising almost $50 million from outside sources in states such as California, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Only $7 million (14 percent) of the fundraising for her gubernatorial campaign actually came from voters in Georgia, according to The Washington Free Beacon. Leftists across the nation are flooding her with dollars to ensure she beats Kemp in the state race for governor.
Almost half of the massive haul has come from California, Delaware, New York, and Washington, D.C. That’s roughly $22.7 million. California has raised $10.2 million for Abrams. D.C has forked over $6.4 million. New York has come up with $3.6 million in funds and Delaware comes in fourth place at $2.5 million.
A big chunk of Abrams’ in-state funding, a $1.5 million donation to her leadership committee, came from Fair Fight, a voting policy group founded by Abrams herself.

Abrams has recently become notorious after calling Georgia “the worst state in the country to live” and then attempting to walk that back. Unfortunately for her, Georgians were listening. She does not seem concerned since millions of leftist dollars are being pumped into her campaign to run ads against Kemp.
Kemp has received most of his donations from in-state donors according to the Beacon. He has pulled in $31.5 million through his campaign and leadership committee. Eighty-three percent of that came from Georgia residents.
“In one of the highest-profile gubernatorial battles in the country, Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams is leveraging a vast pool of out-of-state money,” Axios reports.
“Abrams’ fundraising profile — which consists of huge backing from wealthy coastal Democrats and a massive base of small-dollar support — is more typical of a leading national candidate than a gubernatorial contender,” the leftist media outlet stated, seeming to insinuate that it looks like Abrams has the election in the bag because of funding.
Here in Georgia, Stacey Abrams has received $1 million from George Soros, and apparently received an additional $3 million from globalist Swiss billionaire, Hansjörg Wyss according to NY Post.

“If the trend holds, Abrams would be the only Georgia gubernatorial nominee from either party since at least the 1990s to receive a majority of campaign funds from out of state, according to an Axios analysis of campaign finance records,” Axios contended.
Abrams has still not conceded that she lost the last gubernatorial election to Kemp in 2018. She is widely expected to lose to Kemp in November despite the obscene amount of money coming her way that she is spending against him.
The high-profile Democrat has become a leftist celebrity since her last loss, which has given her access to Hollywood-elite donors, including names such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Melinda Gates. A group of entertainment industry luminaries held a Los Angeles fundraiser for Abrams in June and Tinsel Town’s biggest names opened their checkbooks.

Abrams is taking full advantage of the new Democratic leadership committee structure. It allows unlimited contributions to an entity that can coordinate directly with campaigns.
Top donors to her leadership committee, One Georgia, unsurprisingly include California philanthropist Karla Jurvetson and a PAC bankrolled by financier George Soros. Each of them chipped in $2.5 million, according to Axios.
