AOC is a ‘big problem for Dems’ after suggesting Jan 6 seems like an ‘inside job’

An irate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to suggest on Thursday that the January 6 Capitol breach could have been an inside job and accused Capitol Police officers of conspiring with January 6th protesters.

She was catcalled on the steps of the Capitol Thursday by comedian Alex Stein and had a meltdown over it, slamming the police for not doing anything despite the fact that the heckler did not break any laws. She claimed she wanted to “deck” the comedian. Following that she spoke with a reporter about the altercation and then posted a video tearing into the police.

Officers did stop Stein and run his information but he had no outstanding warrants.

“FYI we had to escalate to House leadership to get them to stop him and run his info. They did not until members intervened and pressed them to,” Ocasio-Cortez stated.

The New York Democrat accused the police of working with the January 6th rioters. She told the leftist reporter that the police opened the doors of the Capitol building for protesters on Jan. 6.

“These insurrectionists and that there were actual officers working with this, and we never got to the bottom of that, and we never got any answers about that. And then to this day, we’re just supposed to pretend that that never happened. I have no idea what happened to the people on the inside who were very clearly sympathetic with what was going on and opening the doors wide open for that,” she angrily told the reporter.

“And I’m supposed to sit here and pretend like none of that ever happened. And then, right afterward, you just have this idea that throwing money at that problem is going to make it go away without any accountability,” she continued. “And this is where this thing is breaking down. We are not safe. And it is not just about members of Congress not being safe. The food staff workers aren’t safe, the janitors aren’t safe, like, we need to get to the bottom of this.”

Fox News host Jesse Watters said on his show Thursday, “AOC is suggesting that Jan. 6 might have been an inside job. How come Twitter hasn’t banned that? She’s getting into some very dangerous territory here.”

“AOC is right about that. Questioning the institutions in D.C. is dangerous. That’s why we’re not allowed to ask about Jan. 6, the FBI’s role in the collusion hoax, the State Department covering up Benghazi, the Wuhan lab. Welcome to my world, AOC. Dip your toe in. The water’s warm. Next thing you know, the congresswoman is going to start asking about the laptop from hell,” he stated during the segment.

“So, AOC is a livewire and a big problem for the Democrats. She’s calling the Jan. 6 committee a sham, saying her side of the aisle is covering up the truth about what happened that day and that’s a very dangerous place for AOC to be. The Democratic Party doesn’t tolerate dissent and Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff will be out for revenge,” Watters noted.
