Left throws Ruth Bader Ginsburg under bus, blame her for dying and the overturning of Roe vs. Wade

As the cries of rage, tearing of hair, and tears of anguish were witnessed on the left after the overturning of the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade on Friday, liberals proceeded to throw the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg under the bus.

A number of liberal journalists and others on the left blamed the late justice for not retiring before her death and allowing the confirmation of pro-life Justice Amy Coney Barrett, paving the way for the overturning of the federal abortion doctrine. They, of course, also blamed former President Donald Trump.

Twitter was on fire with carping from leftist media types claiming that Ginsburg was partly responsible for the Supreme Court ruling. They literally dug up her memory and reputation, stomping on the late justice in frustration.

Ginsburg passed away in September of 2020. She was 87 years old and was riddled with colon and pancreatic cancer as well as other health-related problems. When she died, she left a vacancy on the high court that Trump proceeded to fill with Justice Amy Coney Barrett whom the left despises for her pro-life, Christian stances.

Hollywood Reporter columnist Scott Feinberg tweeted, “RBG was a hero for many reasons. But the terrible irony is that her decision to stay too long at the party helped lead to the destruction of one of the things she cared about the most. Sadly, this will be a big part of her legacy.”

Podcast host Katie Halper viciously knocked her leftist hero, “So glad RBG kept planking instead of retiring from the Supreme Court.”

The Independent’s Skylar Baker-Jordan bitterly commented, “But at least RBG got to die in office.”

Freelance journalist Eoin Higgins went after both former President Barack Obama and Ginsburg in a twofer, blaming them for the death knell of Roe vs. Wade.

“Thanks especially to RBG today for making this possible,” he tweeted.

“Also thanks to Obama for not recess appointing Garland or whoever to replace Scalia, your inaction and failed presidency helped make this moment a reality,” Higgins added.

“Reminder: Ruth Bader Ginsberg opted to die in her seat under Trump instead of pave the way for an appropriate replacement under Obama. The road to hell is paved with white feminism,” tweeted Khadijah A. Robinson.

“Ruth Bader Ginsberg is slow roasting in hell,” medical professional and writer Gabrielle Perry tweeted.

“It’s certainly hard for me, now, to think of her work and of her — and not to, these days, work up a degree of regret and anger. This is so multilayered because she cared so passionately about advancing equality for everybody. She figured out a way to get women to be part of the Constitution. And yet, what she has helped to give us is a court that for a long, long time is going to be undoing the equality rulings that she was part of,” Dorothy Samuels, who sat on the New York Times editorial board, told Politico. “It was an extraordinarily self-centered thing to do.”

“She gambled,” claimed Stanford law professor Michele Dauber. “She didn’t just gamble with herself. She gambled with the rights of my daughter and my granddaughter. And unfortunately, that’s her legacy. I think it’s tragic.”

And while the left was tanking one of its heroes, conservatives took note and thanked Ginsburg as well.

Author and conservative instigator Matt Walsh led the way, tweeting, “This day brought to you by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s narcissistic refusal to retire. Thank you, RBG!”

Not to be outdone, Newsbusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck gave a heartfelt thanks to two late icons on the left, “We should build a statue to the pro-life movement of Harry Reid and RBG holding hands.”
