‘Please forgive me if I’m intruding’: CNN features letter from Prince William that perpetuates debunked Jan 6 lie

As if the circus surrounding Jan. 6 hasn’t already reached hair-pulling levels, a letter from Prince William to Sandra Garza, the girlfriend of Officer Brian Sicknick, whose death from a series of two strokes unrelated to events at the Capitol has become a favorite propaganda football for liberals to punt.

As BizPac Review reported in April, Washington, D.C.  medical examiner Francisco J. Diaz ruled that Sicknick died from natural causes following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot after suffering two strokes.

According to Diaz, an autopsy showed no evidence that Sicknick sustained any injuries — either internal or external — at the Capitol, nor did he have an allergic reaction to any chemical irritants, such as bear spray, that were reportedly dispersed.

That hasn’t stopped politicians, the media, or, apparently members of Great Britain’s Royal Family from perpetuating the myth that Sicknick died after a mob of crazed Trump supporters, hell bent on insurrection, beat him to death with a fire extinguisher.

Garza, who presumably saw the medical report, went on CNN’s “The Lead” on Thursday to slam Trump and his supporters and share a letter written by Prince William, in which the future King of England apologized for “intruding” before crediting Sicknick with ensuring “democracy was upheld” at the Capitol.

Though the letter was dated back in November, somehow, Garza says, she just received it a few weeks ago.

“Please forgive me if I am intruding but I wanted to write and let you know how sorry I am about the death of your partner, Brian,” the Duke of Cambridge wrote.

Prince William said that he had just watched “documentary footage of the harrowing events” at the Capitol and he wanted to acknowledge Sicknick’s “patriotism and selflessness.”

“By all accounts Brian performed valiantly while on duty and despite suffering injuries continued to do his utmost to protect those inside,” he wrote. “I hope you can take some comfort from knowing that it is thanks to law enforcement officers like Brian that the situation did not escalate further and democracy was upheld.”

“Trump does not give two cr*ps about law enforcement or Brian and yet Prince William took the time to honor me and Brian,” Garza said during coverage of the Jan. 6 hearings.

Surprisingly, it seemed that Garza was not familiar with the many measures Donald Trump took as President to back the Blue.

“The Lead” host Jake Tapper noted that Sicknick was a Republican, and asked Garza to comment on House Republicans “who are still belittling what happened.”

“I’m disgusted,” she said, adding, “I have to say I’m very unhappy and disappointed with the Capitol police leadership.”

Online, some users on Twitter did, indeed, see the letter from Prince William as an intrusion.

“WTAF,” tweeted one user. “The British Royal Family need to stay in their lane. They are out of control  in their political meddling.”
