In her relatively short time in Congress, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has appeared to routinely demonstrate she is not interested in the “business as usual” atmosphere and her latest knock against the establishment came in the form of an unrelenting debasement of Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S..C.) for his support of President Joe Biden’s “communist agenda.”
The freshman lawmaker used her “MTG Live” podcast to call out the senator over his seemingly lost priorities for the people of his state Sunday night. In the wake of several tragic shootings, including the massacre in Uvalde, Texas, and the nationwide media coverage calling for change, Graham had added his voice to the din in response to Biden’s address to the nation.
The president had reiterated his stance that Second Amendment “is not absolute” and the senator’s tweet following the speech depicted a preference for that opinion.
I also stand ready to work across the aisle to find common ground – something that was absent from President Biden’s address to the nation.

“I stand ready to vote on ALL the proposals mentioned by President Biden tonight and encourage the Democratic Leader to bring them forward for votes,” Graham tweeted. “I also stand ready to work across the aisle to find common ground – something that was absent from President Biden’s address to the nation.”
Greene railed against the senator’s stance and his continued posturing in favor of Biden, his longtime “friend” from their years working in the Senate together.
“This is everything wrong with Republicans in the Republican Party. I’m calling out Senator Lindsey Graham, and I’m hoping every single one of you call his office and tell him he is breaking his promise,” the Georgia representative said during her podcast. “He said he would not violate due process rights, and he’s standing here ready to go ahead and do that. That is everything wrong with so many politicians here in Washington, D.C.”
She also shared a video of an encounter with the senator from before her election where he promised no bill on gun legislation would be without due process. However, critics of proposed red flags laws contend they will circumvent the rights of Americans in order to proceed with gun confiscation. According to Greene, this is just one of the ways in which Graham has been supporting the “communist agenda” of Biden and the Democrats.
“He’s helping him and making sure that Joe Biden gets his people put in place so they can radically destroy the United States of America. I don’t think that’s what a Republican senator from South Carolina should be doing,” she went on before lambasting Graham for helping the president’s appointees get confirmed. “Don’t forget this is the same senator, Republican senator, that’s been one of those in the Senate that has also voted to confirm all of Joe Biden’s picks for his administration. He doesn’t really have a problem with the people that Joe Biden picks. He goes ahead and votes them on in.”
Meanwhile, as Greene asserts that Graham is partaking in the erosion of the rights of the American people, she called him out for his “non-stop” support for funding Ukraine to ensure their right to defend themselves. “He wants to make sure that your tax dollars are helping people in Ukraine to defend themselves, but he stands ready to vote for ‘ALL’ of Biden’s gun control bills. He’s ready to go.”
For that, she encouraged the senator’s constituents to reach out to his office and make their voices heard on how they really feel about Graham’s voting record.

The only redeeming value Graham offers the Senate is his GOP affiliation. He’s anything but a dependable Republican, as MTG correctly noted. But at he is at least a head-count Republican, hopefully one who’s keeping the seat warm for a future populist candidate.

If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got. Let’s try something new like Hardening our school’s safety procedures, enforcing our laws and punishing violent offenders. Law Abiding gun owners don’t shoot other people, adults or children. The Gun is not the problem. Treating Bad people with kid gloves doesn’t work.
Graham talks out of both side of his mouth, whatever keeps him in power, and remain a government parasite.
Career politicians on both sides have put their pockets first before what’s good for our country and citizens. If they go in with modest means they come out rich, if they go in rich, they come out richer. We don’t stand a chance if we don’t vote out these self-serving greedy politicians.
Standing ready to vote on all Biden’s proposals sounds too much like he is approving of them. It’s only slightly countered by his “common ground” statement, but still doesn’t clear him of interpretation. Thank you MTG for calling him out.

Not a fan of Graham….BUT….He said “vote on”, he did not say “vote FOR”. Which leads me to believe Graham is trying to force Democrats to put up or shut up. Just have to add this to my earlier post: Does anyone ever ask themselves why wasn’t Switzerland involved in either of the World Wars when the fire and brimstone was swirling around them on all sides? How did Switzerland manage to keep the German Nazis out of their country without having had to fire even one shot? IT WAS AND IS THE FACT THAT SWITZERLAND IS AN ARMED COUNTRY! It is the law in Switzerland that every house has to have a rifle! And everyone knows how to use a gun! And that is why they weren’t attacked in either World War. The textbooks purposefully ignore that fact. They don’t want you to know the truth which disrupts or destroys their agenda. The schools should have at least one armed person on the premises at all times. It could be one of the staff or perhaps yes an armed guard. It’s just common sense and a simple solution. That would surely stop most (if not all) the attacks on the schools when a mentally deranged person realizes they will accomplish nothing except maybe to get themselves killed.

We did hear a lot of the truth from the great President Trump but Congress people have a different and additional role to play and I’m so happy that you’re ready to take it on. Instead of all the knee jerk responses to the Uvalde shooting there needs to level-headed action taken to really prevent the problem! The main point at issue is the lack of prosecution and sentencing of criminals. If criminals were actually brought to justice with harsh sentences applied, including quick and public executions, the crime rate would decrease. It’s just like raising children…they need discipline!!!

Sure, send Ukrainian citizens 40 billion dollars of the most lethal weapons (including not AR-15’s but fully automatic weapons and shoulder fired missiles) but deprive our citizens of their ability to defend themselves.
