At least 135 teachers, aides charged with sex crimes so far this year, majority against students

So far this year, authorities are reportedly arresting about one teacher every day on charges related to sex-related crimes.

Making matters worse, “Of the 135 arrests, at least 102, or 76%, involved alleged crimes against students,” Fox News reported about the disturbing statistics that were part of its nationwide analysis through May 13.

Most of the suspects are male, and the cohort is comprised of 117 teachers, seven substitute teachers, and 11 teachers’ aides, according to the compilation.

Common sense suggests that the data might underreport the full scope of the danger to schoolchildren.

“Arrests that weren’t publicized were not counted in the analysis, meaning the true number may well be higher,” Fox noted in that context.

“Many of the arrests involved especially heinous allegations,” such as rape and molestation, the news outlet asserted.

This alarming scenario comes at a time when many parents have expressed concern that the union-controlled public school system in some instances has devolved into forums for grooming (as well as for woke indoctrination) rather than classrooms for learning and developing expertise in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Nationally known CRT whistleblower and parental rights advocate Christopher Rufo claims that the “public school system has a serious child sex abuse problem.”

He recalled that nearly 20 years have passed since the last major federal study into this issue. In 2004, the U.S. Department of Education apparently concluded that “millions of American schoolchildren are victims of teacher sexual misconduct in each generation of K-12 students.”

“Parents deserve to know exactly what’s happening in the public school system and deserve to have tools for protecting their children from abuse. Congress should immediately fund a $25 million research program into child sexual abuse in public schools and provide complete transparency for parents. The first duty of public schools is to keep kids safe—and, tragically, that’s not happening in far too many cases,” Rufo told Fox News about what he deemed a travesty.

Erika Sanzi, director of outreach for Parents Defending Education, similarly told Fox News that “the issue of teacher sex crimes against students needs to be more thoroughly examined by the federal government.”

In the meantime, homeschooling by moms and dads, for various reasons academic or otherwise, continues to trend, prompting school boards in some areas to implement budget cutbacks because of declining enrollment.

“Homeschooling numbers this year dipped from last year’s all-time high, but are still significantly above pre-pandemic levels,” the Associated Press reported last month. “In 18 states that shared data through the current school year, the number of homeschooling students increased by 63% in the 2020-2021 school year, then fell by only 17% in the 2021-2022 school year.”

The public-school teachers’ union apparatus is one of the Democrat Party’s major constituencies.

  1. Destroying a child’s mind with pornography , should be a criminal offense , like 20 years ! Teachers and there so called unions , have been abusing our kids too long now . The demons have been identified . Stop them now , we need back up and won’t find it in the democratic party .

  2. Most of the suspects are male” In present times it is no longer enough to simply state this metric and leave it at that.

    1. How many IDENTIFY as male?
    2. How many are Heterosexual vs.. etal?
    3. What is the racial composition?
    4. How many are Republican, Democrat, Independent?
    5. What states are they in? What political party controls the various school districts?

Last but not least; how many are Married, Heterosexual, Republican, Christian, White, Males? You know, the individuals the Biden Administration identify as being the single source of all which ails the U.S.

  3. I would have guessed that the number of perverts (groomers) would be in the thousands.

    1. You make a good point. They don’t want us to know how many. They figured if they throw us a bone we’ll shut up

    1. Sexual abuse has always been greater in the schools and among Baptist preachers than Catholic priests.

  4. Seems that the dem. party is obsessed with sex. Their totally dedicated to the flesh. Their libidos are out of control. Unbridled sexual appetite. Thats whats behind all this sex movement stuff going on in the schools. Its being driven by younger teachers still going through puberty. Its called lust. Lust of the flesh and it is unbridled, from the White House on down through the administration thats in chg. and their setting the example from the top to the bottom. Perversion and lunacy is their legacy. Hollywood is trying to make sure that people stay addicted to sex in all forms. They are Weinsteining society which brings up a question about ole Harvey. Can you imaging the repulsion of a beautiful actress having to bed down with that wartfaced hog?
