Katie Pavlich explains why Dems have little interest in identifying Supreme Court leaker

It’s now been nearly two weeks since the publication of a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that has led to speculation that Roe v. Wade will be overturned and despite an investigation, there are no details on the identity of the culprit, not that Democrats have much interest in finding the individual who inflicted grave damage on the court.

Politico’s bombshell on the unprecedented leak was a gift from the heavens for Democrats who were facing the prospect that their one-party dominance of the U.S. political system will be aborted after a mere two years but the document which was penned by conservative Justice Samuel Alito has energized their emotionally unstable activist base and provided them with an issue to run on in this year’s critical midterm elections.

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich explained why Democrats are uninterested in finding the leaker, suggesting that it is just the continuation of the leftist party’s ongoing efforts to undermine the nation’s highest court.

Pavlich appeared on Saturday’s edition of “One Nation” where she was asked by host Brian Kilmeade, “Why isn’t there any more interest in finding out who leaked and do you have an idea of who it might be?”

She replied, “Well there’s been a lot of speculation about whether this was a liberal clerk, who was clerking for a more left leaning justice, there’s also been some accusations from Democrats that this was a conservative on the court leaking this because they want Roe versus Wade overturned.”

“We don’t know who it is,” she said. “We have heard calls from the likes of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell saying that the leaker should be prosecuted if they have broken any laws. The Department of Justice has not expressed much interest in looking at who the leaker is, and certainly they haven’t expressed much interest in going after people descending on the homes of conservative justices.”

Pavlich continued, “But if you look at the way that the evidence has piled up, Democrats have used this, including the White House, they’ve tried to ignore the leak, to push it aside, as Jen Psaki said when it first came out, to focus on the issue of Roe versus Wade.”

“And it follows a pattern of Democrats trying to undermine the court,” she added, “whether it’s with court-packing or going after Supreme Court nominees that happen to be appointed by a Republican, trying to get their nomination thrown out.”

“And, of course, you’ve had Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer standing on the steps of the court just last year during a hearing on a case about abortion threatening Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch on that very issue,” she pointed out, noting the top Senate Democrat’s incitement of the mob.

“So it follows the left-leaning pattern, but we do not know who the leaker is,” Pavlich concluded.

One thing that the leaker has accomplished is to have severely damaged the SCOTUS as an institution, something that conservative Justice Clarence Thomas acknowledged during a speech at a conference in Dallas on Friday.

“When you lose that trust, especially in the institution that I’m in, it changes the institution fundamentally. You begin to look over your shoulder. It’s like kind of an infidelity that you can explain it, but you can’t undo it,” Thomas said.
