The possibility that the Supreme Court will strike down Roe v. Wade has provided a convenient distraction for President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats who were well on the way to an electoral day of reckoning before the past week, but while the political focus is on abortion rights, the reality is that real Americans continue to suffer from inflation and product shortages with the latest being the supply chain issues with baby formula.
Once again, the epic failures of Biden and his administration that are being felt by those who live outside of the Washington DC-New York City bubble are overwhelming efforts to shift the narrative away from disastrous leadership with parents and politicians demanding answers on why the federal government has not intervened to address the growing unavailability of baby formula which is critical to the nutrition of infants.
One father has given voice to the concerns of the parents of newborns nationwide, Russell Bleck and his wife Bre of Lexington, Kentucky who have two children with their youngest being a son who is six weeks old, told Fox News Digital that the shortage is “very stressful” as well as a “real problem for real people.”
“We first noticed the formula shortage in February,” the 33-year-old father told the outlet in an email exchange on Friday, “However, it didn’t impact us until a couple of weeks ago,” he said.
“I saw a friend of ours make a Facebook post [about] not being able to find her brand. She recently had a double mastectomy, so milk production wasn’t an option,” he said, according to Fox News Digital. “We were on our last can, so I ran up to the store at 11 p.m. right before they closed. They were completely out of every brand of formula. I couldn’t even switch brands.”
“The panic of possibly not being able to feed my baby was intense,” he added.
Bleck said that he had “never even thought” about not being able to obtain baby formula and is desperate to ensure that 3 month old Asher is able to maintain a regular supply.
“I jumped into gear and spent all night online,” Bleck said. “After ordering from 5 different places, only one order was fulfilled for one can. The rest were either canceled or delayed — even today,” referring to Friday, May 6, 2022. “These are real problems for real people.”
“This is really stressful,” he added. “My wife and I are survivors of the mass shooting in Las Vegas,” referring to the horrifying incident when a gunman fired on a crowd at a country music concert from a hotel on the Vegas strip. “We moved to Kentucky to raise a family.”
“Never did I think I would have a problem finding food for my baby in America,” he added.

Biden is also taking heavy fire from Republican politicians over his administration’s inaction.
1. The baby formula shortage is another terrifying example of the fragile state America is in.
Farmers are in serious trouble too.
Food security IS national security.
More big gov bailouts are only bandaids that can’t stop the hemorrhaging of our critically injured economy.

This is horrific. In six states, more than 50% of baby formula is out of stock.
Across the country, the price of formula is up nearly 20% from last year.

Parents already have to worry about higher gas prices, expensive groceries, and higher utility bills.
And now?
No baby formula on the shelves.

CBS News reported that, “at retailers across the U.S., 40% of the top-selling baby formula products were out of stock as of the week ending April 24,” citing data from Datasembly, a company that tracks grocery and retail pricing.
Datasembly which tracked baby formula stock levels at over 11,000 stores shows that “national out-of-stock levels jumped nine percentage points, from 31% to 40% between April 3 and April 24. That’s up sharply from 11% in November.” according to CBS News. “This is a shocking number that you don’t see for other categories,” said the company’s CEO Ben Reich.
But not a peep from either the White House or leading Democrats, after all, they have more important things to focus on, like retaining their iron-fisted grip on total political power.
