Abortion is death for the unborn but it’s life for the Democratic Party

Since Biden came into office, Democrats have been searching in vain for both a rational thought and a central campaign issue to help them fend off a likely Republican landslide in the November midterm elections. While the Democrats are incapable of any rational thought, they do appear to have landed on a central campaign issue; an issue they are hoping will eclipse their failures, invigorate their base, and save them from humiliation at the ballot box. That campaign issue is, of course, abortion.

The reason is simple. “69% of people across this country…want Roe versus Wade to maintain as the law of the land,” Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) screeched from outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday. The figure Warren is using comes from a CNN poll taken in January, which claims that “most Americans oppose overturning the Supreme Court’s Roe vs. Wade precedent.”

Whether you believe that figure or not, the Democrats are clinging to the CNN poll with the same desperate conviction last seen in the 2016 Presidential race, when Democrats convinced themselves that Hillary Clinton was certain to defeat Donald Trump. But six months from now, when voters go to the polls, will the issue of abortion really outweigh the issues of inflation, gas prices, parental rights, Critical Race Theory, the invasion at our Southern border, and trans athletes destroying women’s sports?

Every single one of those aforementioned issues has driven a wedge between the Democratic Party and their voter base. While a majority of Americans may very well oppose the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, a majority of voters likewise oppose open borders, CRT, and trans athletes competing in women’s sports; all of which are issues the Democratic Party supports.

So too do at least half of American voters blame rising gas prices on Democrats and their policies. Even after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a Rasmussen poll found that 64% of likely voters surveyed blamed the Biden administration’s policies for increasing inflation.

Despite the Democrats’ best efforts to convince the American people that inflation and soaring gas prices were Putin’s fault rather than their own, another Rasmussen poll conducted in March found that 50% of likely voters would choose the Republican candidate compared with 39% for the Democrat.

The Democrats have previously thrown everything but the kitchen sink at the American people in a desperate effort to seduce their disenchanted base and suffering Americans back into their cold, lying, heartless embrace.

They tried and failed to paint outraged parents, who dared speak out against Critical Race Theory, mask mandates, and transgender policies at school board meetings in Virginia as domestic terrorists. Virginia voters responded by electing Republicans; claiming the office of Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General and flipping the House. Notably, 53% of Virginia voters disapproved of Biden’s job performance.

In April the Democrats seemed to flirt with the idea of making healthcare their central campaign message going into the midterms. Former President Barack Obama returned to the White House and snubbed the current President Joe Biden at an event marking the 12th anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act. At the time, the visit coincided with the lowest approval rating of Biden’s presidency.

The Democrats tried and failed to build support for their ‘voting rights’ legislation, which was a blatant attempt to federalize election standards and ensure that all future elections were neither free nor fair. After the unfair free-for-all election of 2020, Republicans prudently but belatedly acted to prevent such an abomination from ever happening again.

The Democrat cries of ‘21st-century Jim Crow’ fell on deaf ears. Americans were unmoved by the moronic claim that voter ID laws are racist, when IDs are required to get on planes, drive cars, buy booze, and go to concerts or professional sporting events.

Throughout all of this, like Gregorian monks, the Democrats repeated their “GOP is a threat to democracy” chant; even while they demanded censorship, held non-violent J6 protestors without bail, and interfered in the 2020 election by colluding with the media and tech companies to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

The lifeless Democratic Party was in desperate need of an issue they could use to stir up their ignorant and unmotivated base, which would in turn breathe life back into the demoralized Democratic Party. Anger and hatred are the lifeblood of the Democrats and no issue fires up the Democrats more than Republicans, who want to get in the way of an irresponsible mother and the abortion of her unborn child.

It doesn’t matter that overturning Roe v. Wade doesn’t actually ban abortions; that it simply means that individual states will once again have the right to determine their own abortion laws. Nor does it matter to the left that abortion isn’t, in fact, a Constitutional right.

All that matters is that the Democrats have an issue they can use to foment hatred, encourage violent protests, and hope that hate is enough to keep them in power come November. Hate and anger are all the Democrats have to offer; hatred of Trump, hatred of America, hatred of one another. Abortion is their kitchen sink and the Democrats are throwing it at America. Americans will get hurt.

But Democrats don’t care. They’re willing to lie, cheat, and steal to retain power. They’re also willing to kill; even if it’s the innocent unborn.

Abortion is death for the unborn but it’s life for the Democratic Party.
