When news broke of Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, leftists collectively melted down in a mass outpouring of anger and grief not seen since the results of the 2016 election were announced and Hillary Clinton’s historic presidential bid came up short, a traumatic event for millions who have never really recovered.
On Monday, the worst fears of leftists were realized when the billionaire Tesla/SpaceX CEO added what could be his most significant accomplishment yet in gaining control over the influential social media platform which has been essential for Democrats and the corrupt political establishment to control their narrative and censor anyone who disagrees with them.
Tucker Carlson linked the two traumatic events with a delightful troll of aggrieved Democrats and their “woke” supporters on Monday’s edition of his popular Fox News program, teeing up a video that he introduced by saying, “here is the scene inside Twitter headquarters in San Francisco when the Musk deal was announced,” showing a montage of crying Clinton supporters on the worst night of their lives.
“Sorry, wrong tape.” Tucker deadpanned.
Carlson’s joking may not have been far from the truth, at least according to a New York Times reporter’s thread detailing an inside source’s description of the bleak mood of the San Francisco-based tech giant’s employees after it became official that there’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Elon Musk.
Talmon Joseph Smith tweeted, “Its “absolutely insane” @ Twitter right now in the virtual valves of private slack rooms & employee group texts, according to an internal source. Their take/breakdown just now:“I feel like im going to throw up..I rly don’t wanna work for a company that is owned by Elon Musk”…

The employee continued re Elon: 3/“ I feel like he’s this petulant little boy and that he’s doing this to troll…he doesn’t know anything about our policies and what we do…his statement about our algo was f**king insane…,” Smith relayed in a third tweet. “Were just gonna let everyone run amok?…nobody knows”

Journalist Andy Ngo tweeted that his own sources told him that Twitter employees’ greatest fear is that former President Donald J. Trump could be allowed to have his account back.
From my sources: Vocal Twitter employees on internal chats indicate their biggest fear is Donald Trump being unbanned. Many express strong hatred toward @elonmusk & say they’re sick of hearing about “free speech.” They’re concerned about their mental health. #ElonMuskBuyTwitter

Podcaster Dave Smith, who once advised Musk to buy Twitter posted that he continues to be haunted by his words.

While there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth inside Twitter headquarters and among leftists in general, others were delighted by Musk’s takeover and took to the platform to express their glee while mocking those aggrieved by the end of the censorship regime.
Twitter is a private company, left wing blue checks, if you don’t like it, you can leave. And while you’re at it, build your own Internet too.

Elon should move Twitter HQ to Texas.

I bet Twitter HQ currently looks like Hillary Clinton's Victory Party in 2016.

In addition to his epic trolling, Carlson broke down what Musk’s acquisition of Twitter could mean in his opening monologue.

Recognizing that Musk’s ownership is a major threat to their power, Democrat politicians called for government action to protect “our democracy” with Senator Elizabeth Warren being one of the first to hit the warpath.
This deal is dangerous for our democracy. Billionaires like Elon Musk play by a different set of rules than everyone else, accumulating power for their own gain. We need a wealth tax and strong rules to hold Big Tech accountable.

“This deal is dangerous for our democracy. Billionaires like Elon Musk play by a different set of rules than everyone else, accumulating power for their own gain. We need a wealth tax and strong rules to hold Big Tech accountable,” she wrote in a sign that Democrats aren’t going to relinquish their information advantage without a fight.
