MSNBC’s Joy Reid cries ‘child abuse’ over black kids holding anti-CRT signs at DeSantis event

The ongoing meltdown over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his heroic stand against the worst abuses of the political left’s transformational agenda has the usual suspects sputtering with rage and true to form, MSNBC’s Joy Reid has thrown down the race card.

Reid took to Twitter to stir the pot by posting an image of three young black children who are holding up signs that oppose Critical Race Theory, the toxic anti-white belief system that distorts the nation’s history in order to portray America as being founded on racist principles and absurdly suggests that racism is acceptable when directed at white “oppressors” a sick ideology that has like  queer theory, taken root in classrooms.

According to the “race lady” there has to be some sort of nefarious scheme involved because as she insists, DeSantis is a racist and therefore the young black boys shouldn’t have been at the event, where the governor signed anti-CRT legislation, clamping down on the spread of the “pernicious ideology” in schools, suggesting that they were only being used as props.

“This mis-use of Black boys is tantamount to child abuse. I would really like to hear the back-story on who these kids were and how they wound up at a DeSantis event. Given how anti-Black DeSantis is, using Black children this way is extra sick,” she tweeted.

Reid also urged Florida journalists to investigate, a call that will no doubt be heeded by anti-DeSantis smear merchants and propagandists in an election year.

“That sure looks like T. Willard Fair in the background. But I’ve been told by a trusted source that these were not Miami Urban League kids, standing there looking like they were at the dentist. Any Florida journalists have insight into this?” Reid wrote.

In another tweet, Reid provided an update, citing an anonymous source’s hot tip to suggest that the boys could face retaliation from Trump supporters.

“Update: heard from a Florida source today that these Black boys who America’s most racist governor used as props came from a Miami charter school (I won’t name the school to spare them from MAGA harassment/threats) & that they may not have known in advance why they were there,” Reid claimed.

DeSantis spox Christina Pushaw quickly shot down Reid’s insinuation of foul play.

“I was working at this event and helped with the set up. My colleague talked to all the kids beforehand & told them what the issue was & what bills @GovRonDeSantis was signing. Hundreds of people attended this event; those ~50 who ended up on stage freely chose to stand on stage,” she wrote.

Pushaw also tweeted another picture of the kids that Reid conveniently missed.

“Here are the same kids (on the left hand side) excited to get the pen from @GovRonDeSantis after he signed the bills,” she wrote.

The tide may well be during against Democrats and their progressive operatives who stand to lose political power as backlash builds against their extremist agenda so they will turn to the legal system, mobilizing the armies of slimy, unethical lawyers who will clog the courts with frivolous lawsuits brought before activist judges in order to overturn the will of the people.

A lawsuit has already been filed in a north Florida federal court against the “Stop WOKE Act” on behalf of five plaintiffs who claim keeping racism out of classrooms is a violation of their First Amendment rights.
