Angry leftists are not pleased over the idea that parental rights bills like the one signed into law by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis which clamps down on the sexualizing of young children in classrooms may spread to other states, and some are invoking increasingly hostile rhetoric, including teachers’ union boss Randi Weingarten who has conjured visions of violent conflict.
Video from a recent interview, in which the president of the American Federation of Teachers made bellicose remarks suggesting that legislation intended to protect kids from exposure to sexually explicit material is tantamount to sowing the seeds of war, is drawing attention on social media.
Weingarten made her controversial comments during an appearance on the liberal “The Rick Smith Show” where she went on an unhinged rant about such legislation as Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, a protective measure that not even the mighty Disney company was able to stop.
“This notion – we’ve been very lucky in America, and we in some ways live in a bubble for a long time,” she said. “This is propaganda. This is misinformation. This is the way in which wars start. This is the way in which hatred starts.”

Weingarten, who heads up one of the most powerful unions in the country and exerts vast political influence on Washington politicians, including the Biden administration, has been a central figure in the school closures and forced masking of the two-year COVID horror and would like people to forget about her role in locking kids out of classrooms, ironically providing parents with an opportunity to observe the inappropriate lessons that were being force-fed to their children on Zoom and other remote platforms.
The Florida bill hit the “woke” left like a punch in the kisser, infuriating Democrats from the White House to Hollywood who are livid that the sunlight that’s been shed on their nefarious agenda has resulted in outrage and public revulsion against “groomers” and their enablers who are indoctrinating kids, so young that many haven’t even learned how to tie their shoes, with college-level “queer theory” modified for their vulnerable targets.
The implication that accountability for those in positions of trust within the educational system who are acting as mental molesters could eventually lead to war is not only evidence of the left’s troubling usage of violent language, which they have continually demonstrated is acceptable when it comes to political purposes, but also that the exposure of sexual material and transgender conditioning of the nation’s youth isn’t something that sane Americans are down with.
Many took to Twitter to opine on Weingarten’s crazed remarks.
Randi Weingarten waged war on parents by holding their children's education hostage and fighting to keep schools closed for so long

More derangement from teachers union boss Randi Weingarten who fought to keep schools closed, children masked and now wants critical race & sexual identity theories to be taught to 1st graders. Keep your BS away from our kids and just leave. #SchoolChoice https://t.co/RH2iNa4aHw

I believe that Randi Weingarten is like f@uci in that they both are enamored of the power. She is an enemy of children and their parents.

Loser Randi Weingarten panicking over parental rights bill passed in Florida that it may spread across the US. She knows her woke agenda and control could be severely weakened and lose her job. Keep the pressure on!

Randi Weingarten is a genius. And whatever millions the union paid her, it was worth every penny. She is systematically and uniquely responsible for upending and destroying much of the American educational system. Mission accomplished, comrade. Well done. https://t.co/81eMAJdHp9

We all have to question @rwheingarten Randi Weingarten's sanity following her stupid comments saying parental rights leads to war as this moron is the president of the corrupt labor teachers union. We need to start preventing these types of people from leadership positions.

Teacher’s Union is getting upset because Parents are waking up to their indoctrination.

Prior to escalating to the brink of actual war, Weingarten lashed out after HB 1557, the Parental Rights in Education Act, was signed into law by the Sunshine State Republican governor.
“Gov. DeSantis often speaks of freedom, but it turns out he’s only interested in the freedom of folks who agree with him politically. After two years of disruption, lawmakers should be providing more support for their students, instead of shaming LGBTQIA+ people back into the closet by policing their identity or stopping kids from talking about their same-sex parents. This assault on our children and on our teachers needs to end,” she fumed, according to a statement released by the union.
