Texas Governor Greg Abbott has made good on his promises to transport thousands of illegal immigrants from his state to President Joe Biden’s doorstep and as the first buses arrived in the nation’s capital with their human cargo, the crew at Fox News’ “The Five” discussed the momentous occasion.

Abbott’s tough action, announced by the Lone Star State leader last week in advance of the administration’s decision to end Title 42, the public health emergency order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, was initially described as a publicity stunt but the migrants are indeed being bussed to D.C. just as Abbott said that they would be.

Fox News host Jesse Watters noted that it was a savvy move to drop off the first busload of illegals near the network’s Washington D.C. headquarters and made a keen observation on the wardrobe of the new arrivals whom he noticed were dressed very well for refugees.

“Abbott dropped them right in front of the Fox bureau,” he said as the panel laughed. ‘Smart move by Governor Abbott, he knows what he’s doing there.”

“And a couple of these guys are from Venezuela, they said, alright, fine, I’ll go to D.C.” Watters added, joking, “You know the first thing they did when they got to D.C.?  They registered as lobbyists, first thing they did, and they’re at Cafe Milano right now trying to twist Manchin’s arm on Build Back Better.”

He then remarked on the migrants’ clothing, saying, “and they dress so nicely, athleisure, one guy had on matching Nike head to toe, the kicks were clean.”

“If you’re fleeing a war-torn country seeking asylum and you think you’re gonna die, and you show up looking that good, no one’s going to buy that,” Watters said.

Co-host Jeanine Pirro chimed in to note that “As soon as they get here we dress them,” suggesting that, in addition to free smartphones, the American taxpayers are paying for the new wardrobe for illegal immigrants.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted to the freebie phones when confronted by Fox News reporter Peter Doocy during a press briefing earlier this month, claiming that they were necessary for tracking purposes.

Watters later said, “Come on! Americans don’t dress this well. Look at that guy’s shirt. Look at the guy’s skinny jeans, you can’t show up to America claiming you’re fearing for your life dressed that well, it’s not gonna fly.”

“They don’t like stunts?” Watters asked about Democrat claims that the buses are a publicity stunt by Abbott. “You now, Biden says we don’t like stunts, the Democrats love stunts, Nancy’s ripping up Trump’s State of the Union,” referring to the spiteful speaker’s astonishing disrespect on national television where she tore up her copy of Trump’s last SOTU address after her impeachment went down in flames.

“They’re laughing their butts off when they do the Trump blimp, oh that’s so funny, he added, “come on.”

Governor Abbott has clearly struck a nerve with the White House over his relocation of migrants which was made apparent when Psaki blamed his tough new policies for the record inflation that has been eating away at American budgets since Biden took office, once again showing that gaslighting and stunts are the standard operating procedure for Democrats.
