NBC journo flags ‘unusual… unsettling development’ in SCOTUS vote. Hint: Tardy Rand Paul is racist

Leave it to leftist media activists to find a way to exploit the glorious day of a great victory for their side to harp about perceived racial injustice,s but that’s exactly what NBC’s Yamiche Alcindor did when she tried to spin Rand Paul’s delayed vote during the coronation of Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

With Senate Republicans left with no hope of opposing Biden’s nominee after the usual suspects of Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney announced that they would be joining with Democrats, Paul’s apparent lack of enthusiasm to speed along the ceremony of a judge whose questionable decisions could have had her disqualified was understandable, but to those who specialize in stirring the racial pot, it was unforgivable.

Alcindor, who was hired away from PBS for a vastly higher profile gig by NBC last year claimed that Paul’s not being speedy enough to her liking was an “unusual” and “unsettling development” and par for the course, she suggested that he was almost certainly motivated by racism.

“But still waiting again for Senator Paul,” NBC’s Lester Holt said during the network’s live coverage of the vote as he set the table for Alcindor to opine on “whether there’s a statement being made” by the Kentucky senator’s tardiness.

“That is a key question here,” Alcindor said, citing a report that Senator Paul’s aides “closed the door and would not answer questions during this historic vote really does say something,” before assailing the perceived indignity inflicted upon the first black woman to be elevated to the nation’s highest court.

“It really in some ways begs the question is this going to be yet another hurdle, another unusual thing that’s happening to Judge Jackson as she tries to make history,” Alcindor said.

“Now she will make history,” she continued, “this vote will happen, she will be confirmed based on the vote count but it is in some ways, an unsettling… it’s an unsettling development.”

“In some ways, it reminds me of the conversations I’ve been having with black women who say that they’ve had to navigate all sorts of hurdles, all sorts of..,” she added, “they say… indignities, um, in order to achieve what they want, in order to achieve the things that they’ve earned and that they deserve so here is now another moment where Washington is sort of scratching its head wondering what in the world is going on,” inadvertently admitting that there is a huge disconnect between those inside the D.C. Beltway and real Americans.

Twitter users reacted to Alcindor’s racial blathering and innuendo about Rand Paul.

Justice Brown Jackson was confirmed 53-47 with Rand Paul and every other Republican not named Romney, Collins and Murkowski giving the Biden’s questionable nominee a thumbs down.

Same is “true” for the FBI, CIA, State Dept., Pentagon, CDC, NIH & NUMEROUS gov’t employees. I’d “like” to SEE , “HOW MUCH” these Dems will “get” as a pension & Gov’t Perks “when” they LEAVE ! These SNAKES have sold the American taxpayer OUT! The IRS “should” be investigated too! GET THESE RATS OUT in NOVEMBER!!

How can a person that is supposed to be a woman, not be able to define what a woman is??? So what happens if a case comes before the court where a Woman is suing a company because she feels that she is being discriminated against because she is a woman, just how will this judge vote if there is no true definition of what a woman truly is??? Does this mean that there is no difference between a man and a woman and therefore no way there could be discrimination??? If this judge cannot define her own gender perhaps she cannot define her own race, does this mean that there is no definition of what a Black Person is??? Is this the ultimate in Racial and Sexual Equality???

    1. In your scenario, Ms and Mr Jackson would have to recuse herself and himself. However if a male man self identified as wo man and was discriminated against because he duely notified her his employer, Ms and Mr Jackson would not have to recuse her and himself because she could decide she he is not a woman and therefore she him would not have conflict of interest. Does that help….or not??

We need more senators like Rand Paul who didn’t attend the installation of a radical judge that’s light on pedophiles to the highest court in the land. This, like Biden and the rest of his clown car never should have happened.

    Of their race and their nationality? Does that qualify as being
    “RACIST”?  If so, aren’t we are all racists? Personally, I like the
    way I am and when people call me a racist, I don’t argue with them,
    because I am proud of my heritage. Anyone who isn’t, is a moron.
    I don’t tell anyone if I have Black, Spanish, or Muslim friends to
    defend against being called a racist. Any friends I may have are
    my business. If you have to deny it and defend yourself, then you’re
    not necessarily a racist but afraid to be called one and you’re
    allowing yourself to be bullied.
    I’m proud of who & what I am, and if I was any other race,
    color, nationality or anything else, I would still be just as proud.
    So should everyone else. BTW, those who refer to others as
    racists probably are themselves. Just stop and be proud of your
    ethnicity and you will wind up getting along better in life.
    You may find that your actions and the way you treat people
    will speak louder than any words or signs you may carry.
